It isn’t as if Aaron Jones is taking Ty Montgomery’s job. However, we know Montgomery isn’t playing against Dallas.
Montgomery has broken ribs. So then the question has become which rookie running back do the Green Bay Packers go with?
The assumption was it would be fourth-round pick Jamaal Williams. It now appears it will be fifth-round pick Aaron Jones.
Fantasy alert: The #Packers RB who has been taking first-team reps this week is Aaron Jones. Ty Montgomery not expected to play. 🚨🚨🚨

Jones got his first carries on the season against the Chicago Bears last week, after both Montgomery and Williams were hurt. We liked what we saw and apparently so did the Packers.
Jones ran 13 times for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Williams will no doubt still get carries, but Jones appears to have earned the lead role until Montgomery returns.
12:30 second quarter – king out – #12 sacked 2nd consecutive time…
Also – Refs clearly on Dallas payroll… Missin’ couldn’t make PAT, Dak running D wild…
Ain’t lookin’ good.
Randall needs to go
Jones looks better than Montgomery to me.
He SHOULD BE!! But everyone knows how clue Less McSlob is. Probably keep Montgomery in there?? I say keep Jones in there while he is hot. Leave Ty & Williams on the pine. Neither gets more than 2yds a rush anyway.
