Wisconsin and Notre Dame Hitting Lambeau Field

The Green Bay Packers will host their second major college football game at Lambeau Field. The team announced that the Wisconsin Badgers will play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on October 3, 2020.

The game will be part of a two-game neutral site series between the two schools. They’ll play each other at Soldier Field in Chicago on September 25, 2021.

This will be the first time Wisconsin has had Notre Dame on the schedule since the 1960s.

The first major college football game took place at Lambeau just last year. Wisconsin beat LSU 16-14 in a game labeled the Lambeau Field College Classic on September 3, 2016.

The only other college game that’s been played there was between St. Norbert College and Fordham in 1983.
