The news we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. Jay Cutler will be quarterbacking an NFL team this year.
Unfortunately, that team won’t be in the Green Bay Packers’ division. Cutler has signed a one-year deal to play with the Miami Dolphins.

The #Dolphins are signing QB Jay Cutler to a 1-year contract worth $10M, source said. There are incentives in there, too.

That kind of money suggests Cutler will be the Dolphins starting quarterback. However, there will surely be some sort of token competition with backup Matt Moore.
The move was necessitated when Miami lost starter Ryan Tannehill to a knee injury in practice last week. Tannehill is expected to miss significant time, if not the whole season.
Cutler was released by the Chicago Bears this offseason and there — for some reason — wasn’t a huge market for his services. Thus, Cutler decided to retire and move into a broadcasting career.
But now, thanks to the Miami Dolphins, we will be treated to one more season of CUTTY!
