Quite the saga. On Monday we found out Philadelphia Eagles receiver Bryce Treggs was fined $25,000 for the blindside cheap shot that gave Green Bay Packers cornerback Damarious Randall a concussion.
Treggs, who has tried various ways to defend himself, naturally went to Twitter to complain. He whined that because he makes the league minimum — which is more than $500,000 for a player in his second season — that he was going to start a Go Fund Me campaign to pay the fine.
Naturally, that idiotic tweet has now been deleted. However, Randall let him know how stupid he is before Treggs’ statement vanished.
Yo broke ass shouldn't play dirty then https://t.co/WPmkTQyHFk

It’s unclear if Randall is out of concussion protocol yet, but he didn’t play or practice at all last week. Meanwhile, the Packers have been experimenting with different combinations at the position. That includes moving LaDarius Gunter to the slot and elevating Josh Hawkins up the depth chart.
When Randall does return, it looks like he’ll be in a fight for a job.
