We weren’t even going to mention this, simply because we’ve mentioned it on numerous occasions. Yet, the “story” was plastered all over the place today — ESPN, the Packers own site, etc.
And you know what? They all fucking suck!
Because we already KNEW this! He already SAID it! Multiple times!
And yet, some dipshit asked Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers about playing into his 40s and where he wanted to finish his career today.
You know those answers. We know those answers. Anyone who has been paying attention knows those answers.
This isn’t news. It isn’t a new development. It’s Aaron Rodgers answering a question he’s answered several times before, posed by an idiot.
Rodgers has always answered these questions the same way. Yes, I would like to play into my 40s and I think I can, due to the adjustments I’ve made. Yes, I would like to retire as a Packer.
But hey, HUGE story!
Only if you weren’t paying attention all of the other times Rodgers has said these exact things. And I’ve got to tell you, that’s why today’s media sucks.
No originality. Frankly, they don’t even know what qualifies as news. What I’m sure they do know is what gets clicks on their websites.
So let’s recycle a story we’ve already done. Bam!
What a clown show of horseshit.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. It probably won’t be the last.
And that’s why we’ve always maintained, the writers who cover the Packers are a bunch of pathetic donkeys.
