At this point it’s probably safe to say that Green Bay Packers running back Ty Montgomery is more well-known than he ever would have been if he stayed at receiver.
Although running backs have become devalued in the pass-happy NFL, it’s still a glamour position. And think of all the greats who have played for the Packers — Tony Canadeo, Paul Hornung, Jim Taylor, Ahman Green, etc., etc.
While quarterback Aaron Rodgers, appropriately, will be the most well-known Packer as long as he’s on the team, Montgomery is gaining reputation. So much so that he can’t even introduce himself anymore.

Poor guy.
Is that what you would call “celebrity problems?”
Relax, people. We know Montgomery to be a pretty genial and intelligent guy. Let him introduce himself, even if you do know who he is.
