Mike Daniels Is Coming For Blood

Mike Daniels

Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels sure as hell talks a good game.

Whether he’s preaching about the defense being nasty (his only quote of the 2016 offseason) or he’s referencing numbers that attempt to illustrate that the Packers’ defense wasn’t bad last year (his recurring theme this offseason).

And we will say this. We love Mike Daniels. We think he plays his ass off.

Even when it’s misguided, we appreciate his vocal leadership.

All that being said, here’s the latest from Daniels.

The Packers are coming for blood.

And we’ve got to say, that depends, doesn’t it?

It depends on the defense. The last time the defense was good was 2010 and lo and behold, what happened then?

As much as we love Daniels and what he brings to the team, talk is fucking cheap. Pardon my French to those of you easily offended.

You’re coming for blood?

Show me.

Rake some fools. Beat them down, put your damn boot on their neck and stomp down.

Otherwise, what you say doesn’t matter and this is just another Packers team.

I like and respect Mike Daniels.

    That said…

…you know what else comes for blood?

A: Mosquitoes. Female mosquitoes. Not very intimidating…

…unless Daniels has West Nile virus. Then all bets are off!

  2. ay hombre

I saw a piece today about Daniels actual stats not being too impressive but that his Next Gen stats are pretty much off the hook. The gist of the assessment was that Daniels actual stats are about to hit career highs.

I’m probably missing some shit here but…whatever.
