Well, you surely remember the time then Minnesota Vikings receiver Randy Moss mooned fans after scoring a touchdown at Lambeau Field. It was the 2005 playoffs and the Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers in that game.
Moss shed some light on the incident this week.
He had a hamstring injury and didn’t play in the teams’ previous game that season, which was in Green Bay. Moss seemed to take something away from the band being on the field prior to that game that stuck in craw.
He knew something would happen in the playoff game. He just didn’t know what.
“That whole week I was determined, not knowing I was going to moon the guys and go behind the field goal post. It was crazy… the wide receiver, I think it was D’wayne Bates. So I scored the touchdown and he was like, ‘yeah, yeah, yeah!’ I don’t even remember what I said to him. I just went over there. It was crazy.”
Moss later gave what we believe to be a compliment to the Packers.
“The Packers were my greatest games. Win, lose or draw.”
