Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers bought his offensive linemen customized Polaris ATVs. The gifts were supposedly for Christmas, but they arrived just yesterday.
And boy, did these dudes look pretty happy.

You can see they have customized paint, the guy’s initials and number.
These things run around $20,000, so Rodgers obviously dropped a pretty penny. Of course, he can afford it.
You can see in the photo at the top that it appears Don Barclay, Bryan Bulaga, Corey Linsley and Lane Taylor each got one. So that raises two questions.
- Do all offensive lineman get one? Only guys who started games? What’s the criteria?
- What about T.J. Lang and J.C. Tretter? Each of those guys logged significant playing time for the Packers in 2016, but are now on other teams.
Someone should get to the bottom of this.
Or maybe only the hillbillies in the bunch got ATVs and the rest of the guys got something else. If you look at where those four guys are from and/or went to college, that would seem a logical explanation.
I don’t really see David Bakhtiari in an ATV.
“What about T.J. Lang and J.C. Tretter? Each of those guys logged significant playing time for the Packers in 2016, but are now on other teams.”
Maybe there is NFL policy that doesn’t allow gifting to players on other teams?
