Eddie Lacy Is Fired Up For Week 1

The Green Bay Packers will host the Seattle Seahawks in week 1 of the 2017 NFL season. That means the return of running back Eddie Lacy, who appears to be pretty fired up about the event.

Packers safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix also sounds fired up about facing Lacy.

A little friendly trash talk?

We’re all for that.

Personally, I think Lacy is going to plow through the Green Bay defense, as long as he stays away from the China food.

Over/under for how bad Lacey will make this defense look? Shouldn’t be hard being that they make themselves look pretty bad on their own. I wonder if Pete Carroll will have a magic designated number of run plays for Eddie that will guarantee a victory. Don’t worry about passing it in the redzone either, Haha will be on the field. You might want to go for two point conversions every chance you get.

Who says Lacy’s foot or ankle will be ready for game one, or extended carries in game one? Lacy probably would be more of a factor if the game was later in the season.

If luck is on our side, he will be so fat that we will be stuck between his own linemen while traversing a hole.

      Dang! Meant the following:
“… so fat that HE will be stuck…”

He’ll be a star in Seattle. You know why? They’ll run the damn ball. McCarthy won’t.

Odd synchronicity that the Packers face their former RB in game 1 and the Vikings also face their former RB in game 1. AP is much better than Lacy but, then again, the Vikings defense is much better than the Packers defense. Also, the Saints o-line is quantum leaps better than the Seahawks o-dotted-line. Hard to predict which RB will gain the most yards.

It is also an interesting coincidence that both teams face nemesis teams from past championship game losses. Sort of grudge matches. Vikings finally open the season with a home game. Been a long time.
