Marshawn Lynch is officially back in the NFL with his hometown Oakland Raiders.
Lynch returned after one season of retirement and was traded from Seattle to Oakland in a swap of draft picks this week. We’re not sure what Lynch has left, but on paper, the Raiders are the only team that looks like they might challenge the Patriots in the AFC. At least at this moment…
That aside, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, for one, is happy that Lynch is back.
Happy to see @MoneyLynch back in the league. NFL is better with you back. You still can't throw farther than me tho. #TownBidNess #facts

Why the love?
Rodgers and Lynch played together for one season at Cal — 2004. It was Rodgers’ final season and Lynch’s freshman year.
We’ve seen their fondness for each other before. Lynch had a bearhug for Rodgers — the one you see above — for Rodgers during a preseason game in 2013.
