Earlier in the week, Eddie Lacy suggested he would be ready to resume football activities by April after recovering from ankle surgery. Lacy has begun working out in Alabama.
Ian Rapoport says Lacy will be ready to go for OTAs.
According to someone who has seen his foot, Lacy should be healthy for OTAs https://t.co/8J80DqJAG8

That all jives, as the Green Bay Packers’ offseason workouts begin on April 17.
The interesting thing here is Lacy doesn’t yet have a contract. He’ll hit free agency next week if the Packers don’t re-sign him before that.
All indications are they will. Lacy said the Packers have been in contact with his agent and there’s strong mutual interest in a return.
Coach Mike McCarthy spoke to that in his combine press conference.
“We’d love to have Eddie back,” McCarthy said. “Eddie’s working through his rehab. He’s working down at the University of Alabama. Had a chance to visit with him about a week back.”
And there would seem to be another strong indication the Packers will re-sign Lacy. McCarthy wouldn’t be checking up on him if the team had no intention of bringing him back.

Lacy says a lot of things. Like when he wanted to come back before the playoffs, even though he knew at the time his rehab was 4-6 months. He also said he was doing the PX90 thing this off season. He’s not doing PX shit on that foot right now. When the Packers and/or the players discuss anything injury related…..I now prescribe to….. show me, don’t tell me. And when i hear the words “2nd opinion” i know that means surgery.
The Packers should sign Lacy, because they owe him, for fucking him up.
