As the Green Bay Packers continue to twiddle their thumbs, their own free agents — with the exception of one guy — are either moving on or lining up visits. Running back Eddie Lacy is joining guard T.J. Lang in the free agency road show.
Where’s he going?
Two places that will probably make your throw up in your mouth a little bit.
Packers free-agent RB Eddie Lacy scheduled to visit Vikings and Seahawks.

This makes sense for the teams mentioned, providing they are comfortable Lacy is or will be healthy. No doubt the primary reason for the visits is so Lacy can take a physical after missing most of 2016 with an ankle injury that required surgery.
Neither team has an established running back. The Vikings have seemingly parted ways with Adrian Peterson, while the Seahawks tried to roll with Thomas Rawls down the stretch.
Do you know what else both of these teams have in common?
An offensive line that isn’t much more than a trash heap. If Lacy signs with either team, he’ll earning every dollar (and yard) he gets, primarily because he’s going to have to carry three defenders on his back every time he touches the ball.
This isn’t to say that the Packers are out of the picture. We expect them to make some effort to keep Lacy, he just isn’t the priority at this point.
Considering the way things are going — both Micah Hyde and J.C. Tretter have already signed elsewhere — we wouldn’t be surprised if Lacy joined them. The Packers are considering picking up two backs in the draft.
