What else can we say other than, another nice run with another disappointing ending for the Wisconsin Badgers basketball team? There’s a good example of why you should practice your free throws, kids.
As expected, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in the house to watch Wisconsin’s heartbreaking one-point overtime loss to the Florida Gators. Although he’s from California, Rodgers was overtly representing Wisconsin on Friday night.
As you can see, he’s wearing a Milwaukee Bucks hat — in better news, they beat Atlanta to move up to the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference on Friday night. Rodgers also sent out this tweet prior to the game.
Ya I'm here. Yes I went to Cal. Yes I'm a @BadgerMBB fan. Deal with it. #OnWisconsin #midrange

Oh, yeah, about that #midrange. If you follow Rodgers on Twitter, you know he constantly makes that reference. It’s a reference to the mid-range jumper, which he loves for some reason. So much so that he put it on a shirt, which he wore to the game.
You can catch a glimpse of it here.

Also, the #midrange shirts are now available on Amazon. Seriously.
As far as the game, there were some nice moments for the Badgers. None more so than when they stormed back at the end of regulation to force overtime on Zac Showalter’s running three.
After hitting the shot, Showalter looked over at Rodgers and did the belt.
Zak Showalter hit this shot to tie it.
Looked at Aaron Rodgers and did the double-check.

Rodgers approved.
Showy…..unreal. Belt.

Ultimately, that only prolonged the agony a little longer. Florida closed it out with their own running three at the end of overtime to notch a one-point win.
Can't believe #Wisconsin keeps wasting Aaron Rodgers' prime

Unreal game. Congrats to UF, #5 was a monster. Love the @BadgerMBB squad. #marchmadness @ZShowbball333 shot was 🔥🔥🔥

Of course, if you’re from Wisconsin like I am, then you should be used to not winning championships by now.
Maybe don’t do the belt until after you win game…….just saying. Don’t wanna look like the Dallas Cowboys
Show the video of Nigel Hayes “guarding” Chris Chiozza. Or should i say, stop guarding him at the half court line. Run the video in a loop throwing up his hands in a no mas posture. This over rated hack has all the potential of Jamarcus Russell. Fat, out of shape, and a quitter.
Whoa. Nigel kept us in that game. Coulda won it for us if he could make a throw. Hes not the guy who should have been guarding chiozza. No help either.
