Richard Sherman Must Love the Packers
To say I don’t think much of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman would probably be an understatement. Not only is he cheap and dirty, but he’s also overrated.
That isn’t to say he’s a bad player, but some guys get more praise than they deserve because of reputation and because they draw attention to themselves. Richard Sherman — who, not surprisingly, isn’t quite so solid without Earl Thomas behind him — is one of those guys.
But for whatever reason, Sherman sure likes to ham it up with the Green Bay Packers during the Pro Bowl. Last year, we saw Sherman do some sort of wrestling move on Clay Matthews during the game.
This year, he’s photobombing the two Packers who showed up for the game — tackle David Bakhtiari (deserved) and safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (ironic that his name his Ha Ha).
As an aside, I am just going to say this about Clinton-Dix. He’s the new A.J. Hawk. Completely mediocre and overrated in his own right, BUT… he’s always healthy, so unfortunately, that means Mike McCarthy will never take him off the field.
One less thing for Fat Mike to think about and you know Fat Mike’s brain only has so much capacity due to all the gravy that’s floating around in there.
Anyway, as much as I may dislike Sherman, that’s some solid photobombing game. Aaron Rodgers would approve, I’m sure.
And here’s another aside. You know who else is at the Pro Bowl?
Former Packers’ guard Josh Sitton, who, ironically, was the replacement for the injured T.J. Lang. When I saw this I said, is it possible Josh Sitton now has MORE hair?
I think the answer is yes, which reminds me of the worst job on the face of the earth: Josh Sitton’s shower drain.
