By now you should know that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers likes to troll people. Usually, it doesn’t come in a blatantly obvious way, like say Mike McCarthy’s shot at the Minnesota Vikings. Usually, when Rodgers is involved, it comes in an a subtle or understated way.
You have to be in the know to get the joke. Like this one right here.
Rodgers was asked about the noise in the Georgia Dome, where the Packers’ NFC Championship opponent Atlanta Falcons play.
“It’s really loud in there. Whether that’s all natural or not is yet to be seen,” Rodgers said.
Funny and it also reminds us of what a joke the Atlanta Falcons are. They were stripped of a fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft after the league found out they pumped in fake crowd noise when the opposing offense was on the field during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Amazing that they play in a dome and their crappy fans can’t even generate enough crowd noise naturally, isn’t it? Although, we seem to recall another (former) dome team with the worst fans in all of sport doing the same. That, of course, would be the Minnesota Vikings.
