Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson appears to have given up his playoff dream.
Peterson specifically returned last week from a torn meniscus to help the Vikings make a playoff push. His return now looks like it will last all of one game.
Adrian Peterson now ruled out for tomorrow vs Packers.

The Vikings dropped last week’s game at home by a final of 34-6 to the Indianapolis Colts. Peterson ran six times for 22 yards. That was actually an improvement on his previous production.
On the season, Peterson has just 72 yards on 37 carries, a 1.9 average per rush.
Peterson’s absence is officially the result of knee and groin injuries.
