It certainly seems like during the week of Christmas people pretty much stop working. Even if they’re in the office, they’re not really doing anything.
Such will be the case for the Green Bay Packers this year.
The Packers have a Christmas Eve game with the Minnesota Vikings and coach Mike McCarthy basically said no one is doing anything this week.
“It won’t just be Aaron Rodgers, the plan for the whole team is a low workload,” McCarthy said.
That is, of course, in reference to quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has been dealing with a calf injury. That injury was reportedly better off on Monday, despite taking four sacks against the Chicago Bears, than it was prior to the game.
But Rodgers and everyone else will apparently be getting plenty of rest this week.
And that’s perfectly fine, so long as the team doesn’t come out flat on Saturday.
How about this:

#Packers coach Mike McCarthy says RB James Starks is still in the concussion protocol. With a game 3 days away, this is not good.
