There was a time not too long ago where it would have been laughable to say that Davante Adams had a rivalry with anyone, other than maybe himself or the football. Things have changed, haven’t they?
They weren’t matched up exclusively on Sunday because Richard Sherman typically only plays one side of the field rather than following the opposition’s No. 1 receiver like a true shutdown corner, but Sherman and Adams nonetheless managed to establish a budding rivalry.
It became noticeable right here, when Sherman took a blindside cheap shot on Adams during Randall Cobb’s 25-yard reception.
Richard Sherman and Davante Adams are NOT getting along right now. Looked like a cheap shot from Sherman. #GBvsSEA pic.twitter.com/R6yzSjUeLw

I mean, I would have taken offense to that too. Adams wasn’t even near the play and obviously what the hell is Sherman hitting him for anyway? It wasn’t an interception. There was no need to block.
It was just cheap and dirty.
Ultimately, Adams caught four for 104 and a touchdown and the Packers dominated the Seahawks. However, Davante got some payback late in the game.
It came on Jeff Janis’ touchdown run, where Adams was matched up on Sherman and blocked the hell out of him.

Here’s a better shot of the specific matchup.

After the play, right tackle Bryan Bulaga came over and gave Adams kudos for blocking Sherman out of the play. For good reason. Here’s another angle. Janis ran right behind Davante.

Suck on that, Dick Sherman!
Seahawks were pouting like bitches throughout the game. Lang even got hit in nuts. If we lived in a NFL world, many of these players would be suspnded for at least a game or 2. Would love to see us get a seeding over them.
Not even gonna acknowledge Sherman as a tactician, dudes a baby back bitch. He’s a big tough guy when he’s walking away or nobody can retaliate. He just mirrors the ever overrated Pete Carroll. Just pop in tape from his NE/NYJ days lol, douche was so bad he was fired from the NFL.
I always thought Sherman was a piece of shit. I remember when Greg Jennings took a cheap shot in the end zome in the fail Mary game from either Browner or Chancellor. Cheap shot artists
Hey puyyyyyssies you will not make playoffs delusional cheese fayygesss
Guess everyone is ignoring you. Very sad.
One cool thing was Adams td pass to start the game, as he was in the end zone, Steven Terrell was trailing him. Adams did a no look underhanded pass backwards that hit Terrell right in the facemask. I figured hey, we got a game here.
How quickly delusional Cheesdooofs forget about sub par Titans put up 45 on the 6-6 outside looking in gb
… what now moderater kool aid????….werent you just callong for coaches head…and now 4 ints bounce off Hawks recievers right into GB hands and Rogers is MVP….hahahha KOOOOOOL AID….to little to late delusional clown shoes fans…

Kids, this is why you don’t smoke crack.
It was great to see Adams playing better and with emotion. That needs to carry over to the next game, and the next game, and the next game. . . .
DON’T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT ME!!!
