The best team in the NFC North, that is. Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre says the Packers are still the best team in the division.
While a lot of people would likely disagree with that, the Packers clearly still have a shot despite a two-game losing streak. They are just one game back of the division-leading Minnesota Vikings, who have lost three in a row.
You might say the Packers are still in it because the division is bad and that may be accurate, but we’ve seen this scenario before.
Whichever team gets hot down the stretch can make a run.
It certainly could be the Packers.
If Favre says ANYTHING ELSE he gets hounded as being a hater. The guy can’t win.
Paging E. Wolfe….
Imagine that, Favre weighing in on everything Packers. Why not Sterling Sharpe, or Lynn Dickey, or Paul Coffman, or John Anderson, or Jim Taylor, any number of former Packers for that matter? Favre needs to STFU and go away for a significant amount of time, like 5 years minimum before crawling out from under his rock.
Maybe that hick can comment on the state of the Falcons, Jets or Vikings. The man showed when he was properly motivated and dedicated to his craft, which was solely based on sticking it to the Packers, just how much better he could have been. Instead we got the glory hound, life of the party, live and die by the antics of Favre selfish prick who is reveling in the current state of the Packers. That “aw, shucks” redneck persona ain’t fooling everyone.
Favre is turning into the next Greg Jennings. I agree….stfu.
Herr Wolfe…..?
He is incorrect. The Lions and Stafford are playing much better and MN’s D will keep them in games until their offense gets untracked. GB is right where they should be – a mediocre team with a floundering head coach, a frustrated QB and an injury-riddles D.
Zzzzzzzz, zzzzzzzz,
Did someone say something about the NFC NORTH.. ?
Who is this Burt Farve ?
