ESPN Isn’t Hiding the Fact That This Game is Crap

Monday Night Football can be a mixed bag at this point in the season. These matchups are chosen during the summer and that’s that, so teams that the league expects to be good sometimes aren’t. For example, this Monday’s game between the 4-6 Green Bay Packers and 5-5 Philadelphia Eagles.

Not the marquee matchup one might have envisioned back in September.

ESPN knows they have a crap game on their hands and they apparently aren’t trying to hide it. Check out this promo for the game, which features the tag “Sometimes desperation can be motivation.”

In other words, these teams suck and have to win this game or their season is over. That’s a great summary of where the Packers are right now.

Unfortunately, despite being desperate, they haven’t shown any motivation in a while.

The Eagles don’t suck, and with how competitive the NFC East is, this is definitely a must win game for them.

As far as the Packers, win or lose, people tune in to watch America’s team.

You’re right about that. NO One gives a rats ass about the Filthy Eagles. Green Bay draws ratings regardless. Its a FKG shame they are run by the 3 Stooges

Let’s give our speedy WR’s a chance. As soon as Janis or Davis drops a long pass we bench them. Ted Ginn Jr. usually drops his first long pass with the Panthers, but he always ends up catching at least one long TD for the Panthers before the game is over.

Perfect Opportunity for Murphy to meet with Gruden tonight? If that Alfred E Neuman has a brain in his head. Lay down ground work bring him in?? Let him know McSlob out the door in 6 weeks. Plenty of time to make it work out.
