Packers Are a Joke, Lose 30-16 to Cowboys

Aaron Rodgers sucks balls

Where to even begin? Oh, here’s where to begin! Any of you blind Aaron Rodgers’ supporters out there can go straight to hell!

Aaron Rodgers is — I don’t know if he’s worse than Case Keenum — but one of the worst quarterbacks in the entire NFL. There’s no other way to look at it.

If you’d like to make excuses, go make them elsewhere.

It’s not as if anyone on the Green Bay Packers did their job against the Dallas Cowboys, but here’s the thing. There was our supposedly all-world quarterback, he pretty much just had to take advantage of the situations given to him and… SHIT THE BED.

Who is this guy?

We couldn’t even tell you. Rodgers threw for decent yardage (294), he had a better average per pass than he’s had in, I don’t know, years? That was 7.0, which is still not great.

Here’s the bottom line. One touchdown, one pick, two fumbles.

The guy was awful.

There used to be hope when the Packers were down and Rodgers and the offense were handed the ball. Not anymore.

Not anymore.

It was a hyped game and for good reason. The Dallas Cowboys dominated the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field. The much talked about battle between the No. 1 run defense and the No.1 run offense went to the offense.

Rookie Ezekiel Elliott ran 28 times for 157 yards. Those 28 carries say everything that is necessary to say. We thought the Packers’ run defense was good enough to stop anyone.

They aren’t.

They’re only good enough to feast on the second and third-string jokers they’ve been facing. This wasn’t just a test against the No. 1 run offense, it was a test against the best offensive line in the NFL.

The best offensive line in the NFL was far superior to anything the Packers did on defense.

Really, that’s how this works. We all pretend maybe this is the week Aaron Rodgers isn’t going to be Case Keenum, but that never happens. We all know the Packers’ defense has to win them games.

And now we know, when the Packers’ defense faces a great offensive line, they can’t win a game. The Packers’ defense is based on getting to the passer. They did that just once on Sunday.

So rookie Dak Prescott sat back and threw for 247 yards, three TDs and one pick.

Fucking embarrassing.

That’s the last thing we expected to happen, but here’s the thing we learned.

A great offensive line is better than a great front seven. The Cowboys don’t just have the best o-line in football, it’s a game-changing o-line. And the Packers’ defensive line — and their front seven — isn’t as good as they thought they were.

Frankly, we were waiting for that to be obvious.

The sad part is the Packers had every chance to win this game. You might even argue they should have won this game. Except for the bag of shit playing quarterback.

Who was that?

Blair Kiel? Anthony Dilweg? Seneca Wallace? John Hadl?

I couldn’t quite make it out…

It’s time for “journalists” in that shitheap called Wisconsin to actually get on this team. Fans booing is just the start. Time to make it less cosy in there

    • Disgruntled Packer

Aaron Rodgers started going downhill when he had to pretend to be straight. He started sucking when he stopped sucking.

  2. Big Gay Clay

Got to be one of the most pitiful offensive performances I’ve seen all season. You fucking throw on 1st and goal from on 1 1/2 yard line instead of pounding it in with Lacy? What a bone headed call that lost us the game (Rodgers fumbled and Dallas marches down the field go up another TD). Something stinks in Green Bay. Fuck, I’m regretting getting tickets to the Falcons Packers game 2 weeks from now. We’re gonna get our assessment WAXED. Gotta say I’m not happy that I just lost a bet to Ezekiel Elliott Smith cousin on the game. The dudes a beast though

  3. SDspec

No question Aaron lost us this fucking game.
Defense did just about as much as you could ask for considering they were on the field playing from behind. But no pressure all day. Fuck them too.
Every time Peppers is in there the run goes right at him and he always crashes in and takes himself out of the play.
I was praying McCarthy had the balls to bench Aaron and give Hundley a chance. But sadly it will take until December before Mikey even concedes that the offense is not doing well.

  4. TyKo Steamboat

No momentum. The jet sweep with less than a minute left before half was back-breaking. 3 points before half.
I hope fat Eddie lacy saw what an in-shape running back looked like in Ezekiel Elliot.
& the iso’s with the WR in the backfield is a such a dump of a play.
I’m discouraged. I still think we have a top-10 D… But there was no fire & no momentum

Hopefully now former Minnesota viQueens Faggy Brent Pevre & his condescending good-ole-boy charm leave the field forever & stop fucking cursing our team & our rhythm I know that asshole was smiling about all this. Prick.
Again with that asshole. Take those ugly uniforms & burn this game.
This offense is a pile of shit. Good bye Eddie Lacy. Go make another chunky commercial you money grubbing lard. Another example of why grown men should never buy jerseys

    • icebowl

Good point on Lacy becoming a commercial star…
My feeling is that is on cause of slides of QB1 and Matthews …
#12 looks like he’s going through the motions – why bother when you’re getting tons of money shoved into your pockets by Murphy and insurance companies. I’ve often wondered what his teammates (specifically O-line) think when they see him becoming a star while they’re busting their asses to make him look good ….

      Stick a fork in ’em – they’re done !

      • TyKo Steamboat

Eddie needs the commercials because he plays for money as so eloquently stated in his sports illustrated interview.
“I’m just trying to get to that second contract…I want frank gores career…”
Well guess what fat boy, frank gore never won a ring & you ain’t gotten a contract from GB… Go be a bear
I saw clips from the Cowboys game 3 years ago when Eddie was a rookie. He was muscular, mean & fast.
Now, in a contract year, he can’t even move

    • Big Gay Clay

What you are going to blame the loss on Lacy? obviously you weren’t watching the same game… come down to atlanta and I’ll show you how “grown men” treat little boys…

    • Empacador

“Hopefully now former Minnesota viQueens Faggy Brent Pevre & his condescending good-ole-boy charm leave the field forever & stop fucking cursing our team & our rhythm I know that asshole was smiling about all this. Prick.”

Beautifully stated. Funny, I mentioned during the game last time Favre visited they shit the bed as well. Agreed that hick is laughing and loving this. At least Rodgers hasn’t gone 4-12, yet. What a shit show.

      • TyKo Steamboat

Yea, bud. Why they decided to put a former Vikings quarterback’s name up in the retired #s before the end if the TT/MM/AR era is a travesty. A celebration of Viking football today in Lambeau.
Hopefully all the fumanshu-wearing rednecks cherished their memories from 2009 today on their drives back to Milwaukee.
Let’s all celebrate Jim McMahon’s career next Thursday night since we’re already stroking our arch rivals’ former players. Traitors

  5. icebowl

That was one of the more pathetic excuses of a Packers game I’ve seen in a while….
And it happened on almost first anniversary of total collapse to Broncos for first loss of season. Going 1-3 for next 4 weeks and sneak into post season. This year they won’t be as lucky.

I can hear the excuses already from MM – injuries – no RB, secondary decimated. D got taken apart by a rook QB – secondary looked like Keystone Kops – Gunter even worse than Randall…..

Time for QB1 to take full responsibility for this fiasco.

Experience of 49 years of being a Packers fan tells me we could be looking at the end of the ARodg Era…

  6. KG

total shit show. I guess its time to agree with most of the posters on this site and say its time for MM, TT, and the other retarded MM to get out of town.

    • Skinny

I said this two years ago after the NFC title game meltdown that this core of players and McCarthy were done in GB. You never get over shit like that. I knew it was only going to get worse. This team is such a puss show, we’re so fuckin soft.

  7. PackAttack

    Gentlemen,

It’s time to seriously start thinking about benching Aaron Rodgers. This offense is so flat and so predictable it’s reasonable to assume it’ll function significantly better without him. McCarthy is so hell bent on running the football so much so that’ll he’ll waste plays down 20 points and risk fumbling with a fourth-string RB to prove he wants a 50/50 split in his so called “West Coast Offense” — how’s the whole running the football thing going for this offense? Has it helped at all? When was the last time Rodgers threw for 300 yards? When was the last time he threw for 400? This is a $20M per/year QB, playing in what’s supposed to be the best offense in the NFL and it’s statistically the worst offense in the NFL over the last 12 months by an absolute landslide.

Note to all: McCarthy has been force feeding this running the football bullshit for 4 fucking years now and IT’S NEVER FUCKING WORKED! NEVER! Now it’s so fucking bad people have finally caught wind of how utterly fucking epically bad this fat fucks play calling is. Eddie Lacey has no place in this offense, NONE. Not one defensive coordinator in the league is scared of Eddie Lacey running the football, not one! As such, it doesn’t help setup play action (no shit), it doesn’t help free up space deep (not one receiver is capable of creating separation regardless) or is it effective enough to rely on consistently. So why the fuck are we still trying to push the envelope with this running the football shit!!!

It’s desperately time for a change and someone needs to be fired by tomorrow. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results —- well that’s the Green Bay Packers over the last 12 months. It’s outrageous how bad they’ve become on offense. This is an epically bad football team and there needs to be changes.

Is it a coincidence that as soon as a new player steps foot in this offense they seem to play more efficiently? Ty Montgomery? Jeff Janis? Maybe that’s because the rest of this horseshit personnel is so fucking bad (Adams, Cobb, Richard Rodgers and even Jordy) none of them can create separation EVER — it’s time for a change, all around.

    • Skinny

I’m fine with benching his ass. I’m sick of his fucking cry baby act out on the field when things aren’t going good. He is such defiant little bitch too, stands on the sideline like it aint it fault. Fuck him and his ego.

    • SDspec

Cobb played well enough, he had at least 2 TDs taken away by our $20M QBs shit show this evening.
Jordy is NOT back. Adams, fuck him, I hope his injury is career ending.

  8. ARS85

I am going to go into a fairly long rant here. Feel free to skip past my comment but I need to let this out. I will try to keep it as readable as possible.

Defense: I don’t have too many issues with our D. They have done pretty much what has been asked of them the first 5 games. The front 7 was dominated tonight I know. However they were dominated by arguably the best offensive line in the game and arguably the current front runner for MVP at running back. They were also put in terrible situations that gave them little chance to succeed.

The secondary tonight was bad. They are banged up though. Safety play wasn’t the worst. Burnett’s best game this season. Gunter was bruuuutttaaaal. He will not cut it as an every down corner. He will be destroyed on a weekly basis. They are thin at corner and that hurts. In the first few weeks they have been gouged for yards and big plays but not for points. Bending but not breaking. Doing enough to keep this team in it.

Offense….i will break this down by position.

O line: has been fantastic. Pretty much all you can ask for. Decent push on running plays. Nice holes. Very good pocket protection. No complaints about this group whatsoever. They have been very good and have given this offense a chance. Hopefully Bulaga is ok.

Wide receivers: this is a tough one to break down. So many little things to speak about. Getting separation is a definite issue with this group, but no way is it the cause of this offenses poor play. Jordy hasn’t been good, but he is on the wrong side of 30 coming off a major knee injury. He may not be ok until December. I am willing to wait, but he can’t be expected to be the #1. Cobb for me has been great. Not a huge game today but he’s open a lot and he is working hard to get open. No complaints with Randall. Adams is a disgrace. He’s awful and we keep parading him out there. Davis is non existent. Abredaris and Janis can’t get onto the field. Montgomery looked good. He moved around a lot and did damage. But we can’t be relying on him to win us games. Tight ends are just there. Useless

Running backs: lacy was fantastic. Did what was asked of him with a bum ankle. Played his heart out tonight.

Quarterback: this is where it all goes to shit. Aaron has been awful. He is terrible. I’m sorry there is no defending this. This isn’t a few bad games, this isn’t a slow start and relax, this is a year straight of horrible qb play with a whole offseason sandwiched in between from a former two time MVP. He has no confidence. He refuses to throw the football. He will not squeeze any ball in. Is it a result of the thin wideout group he had to deal with last year? Most likely…. But that is in the past now . Time to throw the ball. The separation isn’t always there, but he’s just not throwing it, I’ve seen the film. You can’t stand in the pocket for five seconds and not have somewhere to throw in this league. There is going to be someone open. He just won’t do it. Constantly breaking the pocket to run and throw nowhere. The misses to Rodgers and Cobb were awful. The throw to Adams over the middle for a big gain, he had him for a good two seconds before actually throwing it. He has zero confidence right now and I have zero faith in him. Forget the past. I watch every week hoping the old Aaron comes back. I haven’t seen anything to make me think he will.. The only time he looks somewhat like his old self is in the two minute when he’s not thinking and just reacting. That’s how the old Aaron played and that’s how the old Aaron dominated this league. Hes just plain bad right now and it’s very hard to watch.

Finally…. Coaching : this is the biggest issue other than Rodgers play. McCarthy is done. There is no defending this anymore. He’s grasping at straws. He calls a terrible game week after week. He has no solution to our offensive issues and no improvisation abilities whatsoever. It took our back up Rb having knee surgery for us to go to 5 wide. Are you kidding me? Then there’s his awful wr in the backfield packages he calls and his inability to stick to any game plan. He constantly panicks and starts adjusting midgame but not for the greater good. He needs to be fired. There isn’t anything else to say. It probably won’t happen mid season and if it doesn’t we will probably continue to play like this. I hope a wild card and one and done isn’t enough for him to keep his job. This should be a super bowl contending team. And yes I know Rodgers is the bigger issue but he can’t be gotten rid of right now. It has to be McCarthy first. Just has to be. I would love to wake up tomorrow to him being canned. Maybe a loss to Chicago Thursday does it? Who knows… Probably not

Overall it was a terrible game to watch and it’s been a painful season as a whole. Even with a 3-2 record. This team has the pieces to be great but it just isn’t correlating to on field success. I hate having to go through this week after week but I don’t see anything else happening in the near future. What are the answers? I don’t have them. There is probably many. Hopefully the packers brass can figure them out. For the benefit of this team and for all of us watching.

    • Skinny

Secondary is filled with fuckin flag football all-stars and guys that were good at other sports. Yet Teds got them starting in the NFL. Yea makes total sense.

    • SDspec

When players are not producing, you have them take a seat and think about it. $20M QBs too.
But not the Packers. Dipshit Davante was trotted out week after week last year, and I bet dipshit Davante will be right the fuck back out there Thursday, injury or no.

  9. Why is anyone surprised? This team had gradually deteorated in talent at one position, then another. Blame Ted. Blame scheme. Whatever you wish. At least it’s early in the season and we aren’t the Carolina Panthers, ouch!

  10. KG

you know… the packers game was the one that got the cowboys coach fired a while back. I for one would appreciate it if they would return the favor.

  11. Dennis

The best thing that could happen is they end the year 6 and 10. Shit can MM and his whole staff and start a new. Tom Coughlin comes to mind on a coach. Hell he Got Eli two bowl rings. You have to admit that MM isn’t that great of a coach. How many times has he been coach of the year. That’s my two cents worth.

    • Skinny

This team could go fuckin 4-12 and nothing would happen. That’s how fuckin lame this organization is. Nobody gets fired, its a family team, were nice guys. That shit doesn’t get it done and I’m sick of it.

  12. Danforth Cuntingdon-Smythe

My only hope for Rodgers’ lack of performance is he is throwing this season to get that fat tub of cock-snot masquerading as a coach fired. He knows that he is not going to another Super Bowl with Buffoon as coach, and he wants him out. Thompson (not letting him off the hook) put together a team that got them to within five minutes of the Super Bowl against Seattle, but McCarthy shits the bed and fucks the dog by playing not to lose. Against Arizona, Rodgers takes the team nearly 100 yards in 56 seconds in two plays, then the defense fucks up.

This team is unmotivated as it knows it is going nowhere due to a coach who is afraid to win because winning requires risk, imagination, accountability, introspection etc. Buffoon has none of that.

  13. MMTTDCSUCK

What I would LOVE TO SEE are all the TT and MM apologists, sycophants, lickspittles and bullies make some comments . . . I hear MOTHERFUCKING CRICKETS from you cunts! After ALL OF THE ABUSE that you pussies threw at a few of us who, it seems in retrospect WERE ABSOLUTELY FUCKING SPOT ON! I am laughing at your naiveté and your unwillingness to OPEN YOUR FUCKING EYES! Green Bay has some very good players . . . What they do not have is a GOOD COACH, GM or DC. Every fucking time that this team plays a good team they shit the bed. It is time to take your “tough talk” to the ones that FUCKING DESERVE it; not fans like me that actually saw and felt the discord years ago. Fuck you guys . . . I am laughing at your ridiculously bloated sense of football acumen . . .

    • Skinny

Totally agree. I seriously will fuckin punch Aaron Nagler, Jason Wilde, and any other Packer beat writer who makes excuses for this shit show. I’m fuckin sick of those nut suckers continuing to deny there aren’t problems.

    • Deepsky

The primary reason the Packers are failing is because Aaron Rodgers is playing like the worst Packer quarterback I’ve seen in nearly 30 years.

  14. MR

AR is fucking done…more worried about taking Instagram photos with his old hag than putting in the work for his profession. What an fucking joke he has become

  15. icebowl

ARodg muffed the plays – was preoccupied with trying to kill a housefly in the State Farm commercial during the game

    • TyKo Steamboat

Hahaha. Sellout pretty boy jackasses making commercials.
I hate that crap. Why I respected Tom Brady, Barry Sanders & Troy Aikman
Our boys look all business. No wonder other teams are so motivated to beat us.
When is the last time Clay Matthews got a sack???

  16. Jschizl

First time I can agree with everyone on here. Wonder if they are serving ice water in hell.unfortunately it is still two seasons away from a regime cchange

  17. Big B

We need to stop honoring Favre at halftime…..
Packers are not getting $20M+ performance at QB. Consider cutting costs and go with Hundley.
I wouldn’t be opposed to an ARod trade if we could get a Hadl-like haul: 3 #1s and a couple of #2s and rebuild with some high draft picks. Decline since 2014 Championship game continues- status quo not acceptable. Obviously MM and TT need to go. Murphy needs to man up and be presidential.

    • TyKo Steamboat

Didn’t we have a goddam “Brett Favre night” last season against the Bears where we shit the bed too?
Let’s just celebrate the son of a bitch every season in a joke of a loss.
All the traitors, dust off the ol purple #4 jersey

        • E. Wolf

My sentiments exactly, as they always have been.
I think the dream may be over, folks. There is something wrong with Rodgers in terms of Rodgers psychology. I do not know it can be fixed this year or any year. Beyond that, almost every other aspect of the offense is wildly dysfunctional. Look for more of my thoughts on that soon!

          • PF4L

More of your thoughts soon? OH BOY!! Can’t wait!

Apparently you’ve delved into and diagnosed Rodgers psychological condition Dr. Wolf. So how about you fly to Green Bay and provide some psychotherapy sessions with AR, and get him fixed. You seem to have all the answers, like a lot of the writers here.

  18. Mike

This is exactly what I expected based on what I’ve seen from this current packers team. Yeah, the play calling is atrocious and predictable but at the same time these guys can’t even execute anymore. Which is also an indication Thompson has to go. Look at the blunder of not having a fucking backup plan at rb. The crap punter we are stuck with and the garbage secondary are other examples. Gunter is garbage yet we insist on keeping him around.

    Said f

  19. Mike

Aside from all the same shit and the obvious crap we trot on the field, it’s time someone calls Rodgers out. This is getting ridiculous. How much better can his o line play and he can’t make throws to save his life. Maybe it’s the wr not getting open but I saw Cobb constantly beating coverage and terrible throws. The announcers made sure to point out the many bad throws and the fumble on the goal line and the int he threw were just horrible. The offense looks like shit and 12 is one of the main reason why.

  20. SC Packfan

Shhhhhhhh……..R E L A X….. its all about pad level, and adjustments. What a shitshow this was today.

  21. ay hombre

I said it a long time ago. If Ted cares about legacy…and he doesn’t strike me as the type who does. BUT…if he does then it would be legendary for him to not only send Brett Favre packing, but also Aaron Rodgers AND be right both times. Because it is the right thing to do. Two first round picks right now and maybe a 4th or 5th if there’s a ton of interest.

Then trade the “offensive genius” Mike McCarthy for another 2 first round picks. Yeah…I think someone WOULD be dumb enough to give us that because hey…Bill Belichick doesn’t walk across the field with purpose to shake your hand unless you’re a fucking genius, right? Maybe Bill knows the Packers have the most talented roster and KNEW the press and everyone in this world are a bunch of sheep and think….WOW BILL BELICHICK MUST REALLY RESPECT MCCARTHY.

Belichick probably knows any other coach in the league with this roster is better than McCarthy. If he’s going to be facing that roster in the Super Bowl, HOPEFULLY it will be against the BUFFOON.

Belichick owns the press. Controls it.

    DO YOUR FUCKING JOB TED!

Funny thing is I didn’t even watch the game. I knew this shit was coming down.

  22. mike

Team looked terrible today save for the o line, the d’s early presence, and special teams was actually half decent. Its funny to watch all this sky is falling stuff…. im not so sure they can turn this flat play around but a lot of the posters on here are acting way too butt hurt for 5 games in to the season. I agree Mccarthy is an underachieving coach based on the players hes had the last several years. For anyone throwing a tantrum about the d they had a couple gaffes but the offense did them absolutely no favors by keeping them on the field as much as they did and yes it does matter when your top 3 cornerbacks aren’t playing. Realistically they need to shake things up… and start giving Janis a shot simply cause he can stretch the field. Someone else also posted that they need to drop that Montgomery/Cobb in the backfield crap and i totally agree. When i see that formation it says “2 yard run” as the best outcome. Somethings off with Rodgers… I wonder (legitimately) if he got hit in the head too many times last year. He can still throw a great ball but his accuracy and recognition have been poor and he looks like he has the yips.

  23. PF4L

So, i scanned all these comments, with amusement. Here are 2 of the most intelligent comments…..

    Why is anyone surprised?

    MIKE
    10/16/2016 at 6:47 pm
This is exactly what I expected based on what I’ve seen from this current packers team.

Is anyone..anyone, really surprised over this outcome?….seriously? This shouldn’t be a shock to anyone’s system. Although i do understand how fans that bleed for this team feel. Before i wised up, i was the same way as many of you know. But somehow i accepted what this team is, and what i cannot change, and it’s given me a calm.

So , as i’ve posted before, i’m riding the storm out. Waiting for better days. This team was 3-1, but they weren’t a 3-1 team. To me, were 1 game closer to some kind of change happening, even though i know it’s not guaranteed.

Although i’m still a huge Rodgers fan, and i always will be. I no longer can defend his play other than to say i’ll stick with him until he breaks out of it. I haven’t forgotten how Rodgers carried this team on his back for years and years. He’s having troubles, granted……But i’ll ride with him until the end.

Yes, were in a rut, hopefully through time, and maybe some changes, we can get back on top with a new outlook and attitude.

    KEEP THE FAiTH PACKER NATION.

    • Empacador

I still believe a change in head coach would do the most good overall. Might light the fire under Rodgers he seems to be missing. I agree with whoever said Rodgers may be going through the motions, like he is almost willing to tank in effort to get some changes made. I still believe he cares, although his play is really shitty the last year. Does he care enough about the game and his legacy to risk impacting his personal stats?

  24. No way as an Interested GM do you go into a season without a quality third down back, and any common sense coach insists on it. So you don’t have a quality third down back, so let us double down and go into a game with no third down back or for that matter a backup RB. I would be surprised if this is not the first time in NFL history a team went into a game with only one hobbled running back. Not sure if that is total arragonce or negligence. I think both. Neither Rodgers or Montgomery should have been used as runners. Two turnovers. MM says after the game it is important to make the QB comfortable in the offense and that starts with the running game. Then Why the hell go into a game with one gimpy true running back. That is another bullshit statement from MM. TT and MM need to be called out on the RB situation. In addition tomorrow Starks needs to be placed on IR and at least one or two running backs need to be signed and or brought up. If Don Jackson is not good enough then release him. Same damn mess TT and MM made last year with WRs.

Why the hell move Gunter from the right side to the left side. Gunter has been playing just fine as the right corner. There is no need to make two changes. Put Hawkins or Goodson on the left and leave Gunter were the hell he is comfortable. Have to make 2 changes mid game rather than 1. It makes no sense.

I will not get into MM and TT at this time because the Packer way, is no head coaching or management changes during the season. So nothing is going to change until after the season. I happen to be one of those who would prefer the team play well enough to make the playoffs because once your there anything can happen. The problem is a team that loses like the team did today at home is not capable of winning a championship. Changes do need to be made now or this season will be lost. I have found over the years you cannot have two people in charge of the same group, let alone three. It may cause problems but either Clements and/or Bennett need to go. My guess is Clements after last year is only causing problems. I know what about MM? Well that is not the Packer way. So let’s go baby steps to start. Three offensive coordinators and you can’t produce a productive offense. Something needs to change. MM brought this on the team, make a hard decision as a HEAD COACH soon. Or maybe wake up TT and have him make some hard decisions. Or point the finger at others with no changes. The new Packer way.

    • Empacador

Howard, your entire post was perfectly stated. You touched on something with this post I said sometime back. Thompson is the GM, but McCarthy has to sign off, they are a “partnership” when it comes to how the roster is filled. Long term development of the team, sure, that’s on Thompson. Thompson wasn’t the guy who decided to go into this game with 1 running back. I don’t see Thompson telling McCarthy “You will have X amount of players at each position at all times, no more and no less.” This is McCarthy believing he can scheme for anything. I’ll go with arrogance on McCarthy’s part, negligence on Thompson for not overriding McCarthy as maybe he should.

    • MMTTDCSUCK

I wish he did. E. Wolf is young and unproven, he has also been learning from TT “The Frugal GM” I am most certain that this is NOT a good thing. What we need IS the Theo Epstein of football.

Only good side to this shitstorm – if #12 were to go on IR right now the team wouldn’t be any worse off with duo of Hundley and a re-signed Callahan….

The Sonic Boom you heard Sunday was 2016 Packers season exploding. This is a 6-10, 5-11 squad, but with Packer front office/President so inept we can enjoy probably another 2 years of this Cluster F%$K regime, TT & MM & MM. I will not be surprised to lose to Chicago Thurs? In grand scheme of things, maybe it would be a good thing?? Get FAT F%$K McCarthy out quicker. This no Talent team comes from a arrogant, Incompetent, Cock Sucker “Tightwad Ted Thompson”!!!!!!!!!

It’s time to start thinking change.

Rodgers isn’t going to get any better. Time and time again as his first reads were coming open and he should have set and thrown, he started dancing, even when there was no pressure. He no longer has any confidence. He knows his accuracy is off.

Packers are an 8-8 team at best with this quarterback play. I expect that McCarthy will be fired with a record like that, but Rodgers will still be the starting QB. So tack on another 2-3 years of the Packers being awful, at minimum. Ted will be the last to be fired, but he may retire if the Packers are awful for a couple years in a row.

If Rodgers gets injured, Hundley will show probably enough to win some games, saving McCarthy’s job.

I don’t mind losing to a better team, but I loathe embarrassing performances, both on and OFF the field. The embarrassment starts at the top and has infected most of the organization. It’s time to stop believing the top ten “power ranking”. It obviously is wrong. We all need to bring our expectations back to reality. The 2016 Green Bay Packers are at best a “500” team and most likely will not make the post season. My biggest concern is that the upper leadership gets stuck in 1983, 1984, & 1985.

Murphy is more concerned about honoring Favre, riding Pep rally Bus, building winter wonderland Slides………That FKG IDIOT has NO BALLS to do what needs to be done!!! Remove Thompson & McSlob immediately & get on that phone to Jon Gruden ASAP. This current GM/Coach should have been FIRED after Seattle debacle. I knew back in 2010 winning that 1 Super Bowl would have a GRAY lining. STUCK with Thompson, McCarthy for 10 more years

    What Team is this????
    1) bypass interviewing Bill Belichik when he stated on ESPN he was interested in HC Job, and jump gun & Hires a OC coord from Seattle no one on earth knew and gives him full authority.
    2) Decide to Pass on Sean Peyton or Interview qualified Coach & jump gun & Hire a slob OC from San Francisco who was 1-15, because he had a “Macho” voice and guy who liked Alex Smith better than Aaron Rodgers.
    3) refuse to part with 3rd round draft pick for Marshawn Lynch when we had NO running game. He went on to dominate for years (2 Super Bowls) what did we do with pick you ask??? draft RB from Hawaii who was a BUST and cost us game in Cincinnati only game he played.

Ans: Green Bay Packers, led by Ted ‘Cadaver” Thompson.

25 years of continuous HOF QB play has created, pissant, spoiled Packer Fans. Eddie Lazy, who still looks about 2 cheeseburgers from putting a hand on the ground was your best player today.
So much for this “we always support our” team bullshit. I was around during the 70’s and 80’s, when GB was the laughingstock of the NFL. Plenty of boos, plenty of empty seats in Lambeau.
Aaron Rodgers was the second best QB on the field today. Aaron Rodgers sucked. Brett Favre had whole streaks like this. Bart Starr had whole SEASONS like this.
This team will not make the playoffs. It happens. Get over it.

Not sure where my previous post is??? But I’ll shorten and say again…y’all finally are completely in the right!..Not just being vulgar trolls.. Y’all actually are spot on…and I’ve been watching AR12 play like shit a long time..Main reason he EVER looks good is the fact that the NFL allows offensive holding..broadcasters usually when there’s a obvious HOLD you will hear”Rodgers buys time in the pocket”….”look how much time he has”….remember how holding could be called every play? Its because they hold every play…also some other teams..especially against the pack don’t dare hold..they will be penalized.. But Aaron can be a “magician” they call it. Me personally have noticed announcers go to these phrases as I and they see clearly a hold or 10 holds in one play…but holding for packers is a continuous epidemic..they’ve had a green light ever since Brett favre was kicked out to nyj..and “someone” was to fill his shoes…ar12 has had a privileged career..he has been babied and coddled.. Now he’s getting old and even the NFL has stopped helping him with the extra plays..and they don’t seem to give the opposing teams So many sketchy calls to continue drives. Its just what Rodgers is… He is not the best qb..he’s barely a legitimate top 12..he will look good against Det and Chi..but always any quality team they face..they need incredibly luck to even be respectable..win or lose..they can’t play vs real competition
