This piece of shit question right here appeared on NFL.com yesterday. Yes, you are correct in that they are asking if the Lombardi Trophy should be renamed the Belichick Trophy.
Steve Wyche made the argument — as if one needs to be made — for Lombardi. Willie McGinest made an argument for Belichick. And that’s interesting, considering Willie McGinest played for Bill Belichick.
Maybe we should get Willie Davis or Dave Robinson to debate him. That wouldn’t be at all biased.
