The two biggest injury concerns from the Green Bay Packers’ week 5 win over the New York Giants were running back Eddie Lacy and receiver Randall Cobb.
Cobb suffered what appeared to be a concussion on his final reception, which also officially put the Giants away. He took a hard shot from safety Landon Collins and stayed down on the ground for a while after.
Cobb was in pain after the game, but passed a concussion test. It doesn’t appear he’s in danger of missing any time.
Lacy’s situation isn’t quite as clear. He suffered an ankle injury early in the second half and didn’t return to the game.
However, after the game, he suggested he would be fine and plans on playing in week 6. The team’s medical staff will surely have something to say about that, but Lacy has played through an ankle injury before.
They need to get another RB going immediately, Starks is not the same guy anymore
