Brett Favre will be back in town this weekend to have his name unveiled with the other Green Bay Packers Hall of Famers inside Lambeau Field. And what better time for a great story about Favre’s relationship with Aaron Rodgers?
Favre and Rodgers appear to have a pretty good relationship these days, but clearly that wasn’t always the case. Favre was notoriously chilly to Rodgers after the Packers drafted him in 2005.
In fact, we’ve now heard that Favre — and apparently the rest of the locker room — made Rodgers the butt of their jokes that season. And not really in a good-natured way, it appears…

Atta boy, Brett. Way to turn the locker room against the guy coming in to eventually take over for you.
Unfortunately, we can’t really say we’re surprised by such behavior from Favre.
Favre was just a good ol boy from Mississippi. He was basically a combination of the Mac Davis in North Dallas Forty and Burt Reynolds in the Longest Yard. Truthfully that’s the charm of the guy though, that’s what ive always liked about him. Qbs now are all squares, too buttoned up, too robotic, gotta follow the plan type guys. That shit is just boring. Bring me Favre and some beers and lets go kick ass.
Back then, Favre was 36, an old man in a football locker room. Bully the new guy. He wasn’t a good ol boy, he was an asshole.
In other words Favre was butt hurt because they drafted Rodgers. And he knew the locker room would follow his lead because Rodgers was the new guy, so he was an asshole to Rodgers. I’m sure McCarthy and TT didn’t look highly at what Favre was doing as a great 1st impression back then. Which maybe was the start of when they decided it was time to phase the old guy out.
That was the beginning of the end for Favre in Green Bay.
Absolutely contemptible. Far too few listened to me. Go ahead and put his name on the facade of Lambeau Field, when he is dead and buried in the cold grey ground. The socalled reconciliation, as much as the number of turncoats donning Vikings gear and our tolerance for them, is nothing less than shame on us all.
Oh fuck off already.
I approve this message.
I always suspected that. The whole way be weasled his way to Minnesota proved he was the King of all Dicks. I get that he was ticked at Fatty and Walking deadTed, hell I am pissed at them for their lack of ingenuity and that stubbornness,I think Rodgers is feeling that way too,but when he went to the Queens,he totally shit on the fans huge…it’s forgivable but its still hard sometimes. I hope all the honors the Packers and fans gave him will keep him a Packer for Life, but if the Vikings start getting the media coverage and attention they have craved forever, and he gets s on BSPN and starts jumping on that bandwagon,or goes to blow that stupid horn at the Hormel dome, he will again ,retain, and for ever keep the crown of King Dick
No, he’s a dick, period. Just because he could throw a football, was tough, and sometimes exciting doesn’t make him any less of a dick.
after he put the purple and yellow my motto will forever be…man fuck brett favre
edit: so let me guess old man favre is the source of all the aaron rogers gay rumors…man fuck brett favre
