We know Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers played at Cal. He never seemed to want to tell anyone about it, though.
Regardless of the stage, Rodgers has been saying “Butte Community College” as a his alma mater during player intros for some time. He played at Butte before attending Cal.
That changed on Sunday night.

Why the change? We’re not sure.
We know Rodgers was angry when the university fired his coach, Jeff Tedford, back in 2012. And since Rodgers is the exact type of person to hold a grudge, we always assumed that was the reason he didn’t associate himself with Cal.
Anyone got any info on this? Enlighten us, please.
He probably said “Butte Community CAL lege” and the network edited it to “CAL”.
