Remember when David Bakhtiari was injured in 2015 and the Green Bay Packers couldn’t find an adequate replacement for several weeks? That scenario is potentially presenting itself again.
The good news is the Packers learned their lesson and went out and got some decent backup offensive linemen. The bad news is Bakhtiari has pulled up lame.
The Packers added him to the Saturday injury report as questionable. All we know is he has a back injury of some sort.
If Bakhtiari can’t go, we would expect second-round pick Jason Spriggs to step into the starting lineup. If that happens, the Packers would play the Jaguars with an all-new left side of their line.
Spriggs would join Lane Taylor, who is taking over at guard for Josh Sitton.
That prospect should make Aaron Rodgers rest well tonight…
What could go wrong?
I hope we win but if we lose or Rodgers gets injured because of poor line play I am going to start a petition to get rid of Murphy McCarthy and TT.
That’s never been done before. lol
Since there is no longer a probable listing, questionable can be anything from a hangnail to a bad hammy.
Let’s just wait and see what happens before over-reacting like the authors on this site do.
You’ve come to the wrong place if you expect rational or logical thinking.
I think i know your brother .
Ok, one injury away from musical chairs. For either tackle, Tretter could sub in, and Barclay could take over at C.
Karma has picked up it’s pace to an even cantor.
George?
canter*
Apparently no it hasn’t.
WTF are you even talking about?
You’re fucking insane. Literally (no not the Valley Girl def) certifiable.
If Bak can’t stay on the field consistently then TT should let him walk after 2016…
Like real a sports journalist you FAILED to mention the NFL did away with the Probable designation. He’ll play, but in the meantime plan FIRE TT/MM MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
Keep fucking that chicken!!
