In case you missed it, here is Kevin Greene’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction speech.
Greene played linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers. He is currently third all-time in sacks with 160, trailing only Bruce Smith and Reggie White.
Greene was presented by Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers. Capers coached Greene as defensive coordinator in Pittsburgh and as head coach in Carolina.
Greene’s speech features a heavy dose of humble and a great salute to the military. He also joked how he’ll be right next to Brett Favre in the Hall, next to a quarterback where he belongs.
A long overdue honor for Kevin Greene.
