The Green Bay Packers activated receiver Jordy Nelson from the physically unable to perform list earlier this week. It’s been a long time since the Packers’ No. 1 receiver has been available to play or practice football.
About a year, in fact.
So of course they wouldn’t play him without having gone through a practice. Right?
Well, right. Of course.
But for whatever reason, the Packers did have Jordy suit up in full pads, come out before the game and catch some balls.
And that was quite the sight. That’s what you’re looking at above.
Of course, when the game actually started, Jordy was there sitting around in street clothes, swapping stories with Clay Matthews, Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the players the Packers have deemed too important to risk in a preseason game.
