It’s Monday and Monday’s suck. Make them suck less by listening to the Total Packers podcast.
This week, Monty and Shawn skewer the NFL for their inability to put on a preseason football game. They also discuss what they wanted to see in that game and what they’ll be looking for when the Green Bay Packers do open their preseason on Friday.
Then there’s the job everyone is talking about and no one is seizing — the No. 3 receiver. Neither Jeff Janis nor Davante Adams has stepped up to claim the job. It’s beginning to look like the Packers may have to go with an unconventional option.
Of course, there was Brett Favre’s Hall of Fame induction. Someone appears to have softened on the old gunslinger. No more anger, just disappointment, as he said.
And you won’t want to miss Shawn’s angry rant about Aaron Rodgers’ whining.

Well, i will admit, out of the whole staff, Shawn writes the most articles that actually contain football content, and is interesting to read 75% of the time. But i don’t have the time to listen to Shawn’s inner angst concerning Aaron Rodgers and how he’s a whiner, his head isn’t right because of his woman, thereby destroying the Green Bay Packers season, and how he doesn’t possess the skill’s needed to find the open receivers (regardless of what’s going on around him). These “open” receivers that Shawn finds, are found at a computer desk, with slow motion and still video. With all that newborn knowledge and insight, Shawn offered (threatened) to go up to Green Bay and have a meeting with Rodgers, presumably to help him with his QB’ing skills. This Packer fan can only imagine what Aaron Rodgers could actually accomplish in the NFL, with Shawn’s “assistance”. Maybe one day a Hall of Fame induction, who know’s. The sky’s the limit baby.
So with that, i just don’t have the inclination to subscribe or listen to a podcast of Monty, and or Shawn the “QB whisperer” going off on rant’s about he did this, and she caused that, and Aaron Rodgers needs my help and guidance, blah, blah, blah. For the simple reason that the time in my day, that i can just waste, is limited.
You guys seriously need to make the podcast downloadable right here on this sire, otherwise I’m not going to bother having to download from Itunes and convert it from my computer. I love podcasts, but I also like convenience. That said, PF4L has a point, pretty sure there was a lot more wrong to the offense than just Rodgers. You couldn’t have put Marino or Manning behind that offense and done any better. Far worse in fact.
