We found this interesting, even though it could have just been someone slapping some NFL logos on a map. What you see there is supposedly who people in each state think will win the Super Bowl this season.
Not who they want to win the Super Bowl. Who they think will win.
The Green Bay Packers took 11 states, tied with the New England Patriots, if these numbers are accurate. We found them at BroBible. Supposedly, at least 200 people in every state were surveyed to come up with the results.
What do you see there?
Lots of Packers, Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks.
As those teams are perennial contenders, with the exception of Carolina, that should come as no surprise.
What else do you notice?
Three of four NFC North states went with the Packers, including Minnesota, home to delusional morons who ALWAYS think the Vikings are going to the Super Bowl.
Illinois was the lone holdout in going with Carolina.
There’s definitely some home-state bias in Ohio, Pennsylvania (and West Virginia, which might as well be Pennsylvania), Indiana and Arizona. Also, as we’ve long suspected, only idiots live in Texas.
