I’ll be honest. I got a little choked up and so did Brett Favre during his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction speech.
They’re saying it was the longest speech in Hall of Fame history, but Favre delivered a gem. It was extremely emotional and Favre broke down several times, particularly when talking about his father.
The highlight for Green Bay Packers fans came toward the end, when Favre reiterated that he’ll always be remembered as a Packer. As it should be.
In addition to his family and several Southern Miss coaches, Favre singled out former Packers general manager Ron Wolf, coach Mike Holmgren and assistants Steve Mariucci and Andy Reid.
The audience was heavy on Packers fans and quite a few former players were in attendance as well. That certainly added to the atmosphere.
If you missed the speech, watch it. If you did see it, watch it again.
And since the NFL isn’t going to allow us to post this thing, you can go ahead and download it or watch it with this link.
reading this article, i would’ve never imagined it originated from Total Packers (TP). straightforward. no bullshit. no bias. be careful – monty might bounce you from the writing staff.
Between last year’s Packers HOF induction and Lambeau reception, and now his induction into Canton, Wolfie has had about as tough a year a person could.
My heart goes out to the hookers he’s torturing in his basement.
Is wolfie even alive?
I’m sure listening to Q-Lazzarus on endless repeat for the past few months has been very soothing for him.
