Now we know why the Green Bay Packers started training camp with receiver Jordy Nelson on the physically unable to perform list. He has another knee injury.
That’s certainly bad news, but if there’s any good news, it doesn’t sound serious.
Jordy Nelson said he's on PUP because he tweaked his other knee while working out. "It's not the ACL. No one needs to freak out."

Nelson, of course, missed all of the 2015 season after tearing his ACL in the preseason. He was expected to be ready to go when training camp opened.
No one has talked about a timetable for Nelson’s return yet, but coach Mike McCarthy suggested he wouldn’t be out long.
Mike McCarthy said he is "not concerned" that Jordy will open on PUP. Doctor told him no "longterm concerns" w/ 6 players on PUP. #packers
