Brett Favre went and threw this clip up on Facebook the other day, saying it may have been his favorite overtime game.
We were a little curious what else may have been under consideration. We can tell you that the Green Bay Packers’ last two playoff overtime games would not be at the top of any list of great games, that is for sure.
So there’s Greg Jennings when he was in his prime, i.e. not trying to play ball for some other inferior football team.
We wonder how much this was Brett throwing Greg a bone. Jennings must be down in the dumps after having come to the realization that his football career is very likely over.
He remains a free agent after being cut by the Dolphins back in March. He has even resorted to such desperate measures as trying to get the receiver-starved Vikings to sign him again.
Maybe Greg should go live on the farm with Brett and they could re-enact this play over and over again against pretend opponents.
My favorite Brett Favre over time game had this spectacular radio broadcast:
“Brett Favre goes back to pass, he pumps, now he fires over the middle, intercepted, I can’t believe what I’m seeing right now…you’ve got to be kidding me I can’t believe what I just saw
But why do you even ponder passing!! I mean you can take a knee and try a 56 yard field goal!! This is not Detroit man, this is the Super Bowl!! “
You got that right Deepsky!
