Bears’ Lamarr Houston Calls Aaron Rodgers Arrogant

Mordecai Jones by Mordecai Jones

Do you know what we remember Chicago Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston most for? Celebrating a meaningless sack and tearing his ACL.

That came in the fourth quarter of a 51-23 blowout at the hands of the New England Patriots in 2014.

So, in other words, this guy is a fucking idiot.

And what do idiots do? They run their mouth and let all kinds of verbal diarrhea spill out.

Houston was at it again during his appearance on SportsNation on Monday. He was asked about his comment about Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers following the team’s embarrassing loss to the Bears last Thanksgiving.

That comment being this right here.

“I didn’t really look at him after [the sack], because I don’t give two flying [expletive] about him,” Houston said after the game. “I really don’t like that guy.”

Why doesn’t Houston like Aaron Rodgers?

“He’s a little arrogant for me. He’s a little too arrogant,” Houston said.

“He’s a cheesehead. I’m a Bear. He’s a cheesehead. But I have a lot of respect for his game, I will say that. He’s a great quarterback. As a player, I have a lot of respect for him … but the whole championship belt thing kind of gets on my nerves.”

On one hand, fuck this guy.

On the other, we’re happy the Bears are doing their part to add some flavor back into the Packers-Bears rivalry. First Pernell McPhee and now this nitwit.

Hopefully, Rodgers has the wherewithal to take it out on Houston on the field in 2016.

Houston does have a point about Rodgers’ arrogance. Also, I was surprised about the championship belt move. Is that what it is? If so that is damn arrogant. I just always thought he was indicating he was wearing a girdle.

Yeah, he started doing it on his TD runs right around the time they won the Super Bowl, so he can legitimately do that shit unlike EVERY VIKING PLAYER who has EVER stepped on a football field.

How do you personally know when Rodgers started wearing a girdle? Is there something Olivia needs to know about you two?

But I agree that none of the Vikings players wear girdles. Good point.

It’s a dick move by Aaron, period. Doesn’t add to the game. Just shut up and act like you’ve been there before.

A dick move? Lol jesus. What are we, 5? Every fucking player does celebrations. Grow up

Well Killer IS a fucktard Vikings fan, so of course he’s going to be butthurt by every bit of success Rodgers has.

It is not arrogance. It is the air of a winner, as in 2 league MVP’s, a Super Bowl MVP, a 67% winning percentage, multiple playoff games, etc., and most important a Super Bowl ring.

Houston has helped push his teams to a 35% winning percentage during his career. No playoff games.

Rodgers is an NFL winner and Houston is the opposite.

Houston shows us the difference between an NFL winner (Rodgers) and a loser (Houston).

Rodgers is arrogant. There have been plenty of Hall Of Fame players who have been able to dominate the competition without having to do a stupid patented celebration afterwards. Just to name a few, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, and Adrian Peterson.

The arrogant and cocky players, such as Dez Bryant, Cam Newton, Odell Beckham Jr., and Aaron Rodgers, all have their celebrations that they just can’t wait to break out after they score.

Seriously, how much of a tool do you have to be to have your own celebration? Take the Gronk Spike for example. Here we have a grown man spiking the football on the ground after every touchdown he scores. Whenever I see him do that stupid celebration, I can’t help but think that he is a huge tool.

The same goes for Rodgers. He acts like it’s the first and last time that he’ll ever see the endzone. Not to mention that most people already know the guy is a dick to begin with so……

    CHOKE PACK CHOKE!!!

Wait, you aren’t signing your name with “Lions fan” anymore?

I understand, I’d be embarrassed too.

Hmmm…The year he did the belt, he won a SB, and was SB MVP. Lamarr Houston probably wasn’t even born when the Bears won their only SB. You want arrogant Lamarr? Watch the Bears Super Bowl shuffle. Fuck Lamarr Houston, fuck the bears and fuck their fans. Go have a good cry cause you didn’t like “The belt”…lol

Exactly. You forgot to mention F*ck Jay Cutler and F*ck Brian Hoyer.

Wtf??? You name Brady,Manning,Johnson and petetson????

Let me remind you that Manning had a staged “keep away” celebration when he broke the TD record. I guess he thought it would look cute and put a little extra attention on him.

Brady has again been suspended now for cheating accusations.

Peterson missed a whole year, suspended from the NFL.

Calvin Johnson played his whole career for the lions, enough said about him.

So what’s more arrogant? Rodgers doing a touchdown celebration (which by the way he only does a few times a year, and is used almost exclusively by the fans)

Or.. the guy who blew out his knee AATTEMPING to celebrate his very small individual accomplishment (one sack) during a 30 point team loss?

I haven’t seen Rodgers do the belt since the Atlanta playoff game in 2011. If he has done it since then, its been pretty sparingly ill tell you that, like once or twice a season maybe.

    • Avatar for Phatgzus Phatgzus says:

Only on TD runs and the rare clutch passing TD or athletic play.

How big of a loser do you have to be to go on other teams fan sites and try to mess with their fans by writing stupid shit? These Lions and Vikings fans are constantly reminding us of how pathetic their organizations and fans are.

Thanks Killer Purple Cunt and Dave the Douche you guys represent your teams well. Complete fucking losers at life like your teams.

As much as I hated Chad Johnson’s and Terrell Owen’s premeditated, choreographed bullshit, I’ve always found hand gestures and spikes after scoring to be cool. I especially liked Larry Johnson’s X he did with his arms after scoring. That was the best post-TD gesture ever.
A-Rodge RARELY does the belt anymore so this Bear A-HOLE is a couple years late to the party. Unfortunately, Clay doesn’t do his Predator thing either.
As the article said though, props to the Bears for trying to add some spice to what really hasn’t be a rivalry in years. Tough to be a rival of a team that kicks the shit out of you every time you play and beats you in every big game.
