Somebody put Mike Daniels on repeat.
What am I talking about?
This right here.
“You can’t win a Super Bowl with nice guys on defense,” said Daniels on Monday. “You look at the last teams — Ravens, Seahawks, Patriots and the Broncos — their defenses did a lot of that work. When the Giants beat the Patriots twice (in 2007 and 2011), it was that pass rush. So the defense is going to get it done.”
If you’re thinking that’s Daniels’ quote from last week or a few months ago, you’re right. It’s also a Daniels’ quote from this week.
And it’s almost exactly the same quote Daniels uttered at the Wisconsin Sports Awards, last week. Here’s that one for comparison.
“You can’t win Super Bowls having a bunch of nice guys on defense,” Daniels said. “Look at New England, look at Denver, look at Seattle, look at Baltimore. Those are the defenses that are at the top of the NFL. You can’t win with a bunch of pacifists on defense. It. Does. Not. Work.
“We need guys who are going to get after people.”
It’s also almost exactly the same quote Daniels uttered back in February after the Packers re-signed Letroy Guion.
Can't win the Super Bowl with "nice guys" on defense. Ask the Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks, and Ravens. Glad to see Letroy come back #Packers

Listen, Mike. We get it.
We’re with you.
There are too many softies on the Green Bay Packers defense. We need more punch-you-in-the-mouth types.
Now, go to your agent or your PR hack or whoever put you on this refrain and tell them to give you a new quote.
That being said, I hope GB in rd #1 will draft Reggie Ragland if available. He is a mouth puncher.
Can’t figure out why anyone would question Daniel’s message regarding this mentality….even if the message is constantly repeated.
Weak article. Very weak….reaching for an excuse to bitch.
Now Mordecai, go to your partner, your alter ego, or whoever put you on this website and tell them to give you an actual interesting article to write.
Hell, plagiarize someone, it would be more entertaining.
It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen. Muhammad Ali
This ^^^
Neo only ever had one quote and he was pretty fucking alright, somehow I couldn’t give one less fuck about the number of tracks present in Mike D’s mind but more about his continued curb-stomping of the opposition.
And this ^^^
Tell that to Ted Thompson, Dom Capers, and anyone from our defense who’s name is not Mike Daniels (you), Clay Matthews III, Julius Peppers, or Haha Clinton Dix. Hope MMTTDC agrees with me.
