John Kasich Backtracks on That Aaron Rodgers Comment

The other day, we told you about Republican presidential candidate dropping Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ name during a town hall meeting. Kasich joked that he might have Rodgers as his vice president “if he had a better year next year.”

Well, of course that didn’t sit well with the faithful. Even though Kasich is right — Rodgers played like crap in 2015 — you can’t go around saying stuff like that if you expect to win an election in Wisconsin.

Naturally, Kasich backtracked on that statement when he met with CBS 58 in Milwaukee.
