It’s not part of his life. It’s part of THE life.
What is the life? For Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers it’s being big shot celebrity that dates an actress and has his every move documented.
Stuff like walking the dog, going to dinner or taking a stroll.
Stuff normal people do on the regular is now an event for paparazzi when Aaron Rodgers is involved.
“I think for the people who are looking at those sites, there’s always stuff going on. It’s kind of the way of life when you live in L.A.; you often run in to some of that stuff,” Rodgers said. “It’s just part of the life now.
“But it’s fun. I think there’s a big crossover going on between obviously style and fashion and sports and entertainment. Obviously, you guys [in the media] have a job to do every single day, so you’re going to write about something, report about something. That’s your job. We live in the spotlight and you kind of get used to it.”
That sounds like a man who is in love with his increasingly lofty celebrity status.
It’s also a far cry from the guy who used to guard his privacy like a hawk and refused to answer any questions about his personal life.
That’s one difference.
Do you know what the other difference is?
Rodgers’ play.
Look, maybe it’s coincidence, but last offseason was the first in which Rodgers really became a public figure of interest for paparazzi and gossips. Obviously, that increased exposure was a result of dating Olivia Munn.
On the field, Rodgers had the worst season of his career.
The spotlight is even brighter this year.
Rodgers’ play in 2016 should give us a fairly definitive answer to whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
Either way, Rodgers doesn’t sound like he’s interested in dialing it back.
Seriously, dude, “…take two weeks off, then quit”.
So….The brighter the spotlight in L. A. the worse Rodgers plays? Is that what you’re trying to sell here? Do you think Rodgers just became a celebrity in the last year? Are you a Viking fan?
Or do you, Monty, and Mordecai have a running monthly bet on who can write the dumbest articles? If your all not one in the same that is.
I use to get on this place for plagiarism, but as bad as that is, even plagiarism contains substance. This is a few levels below that. So i guess, be proud someone commented on your article, but the truth of the matter is, i don’t think anyone respects your work, so why waste your time, and ours.
I got news for you Gomer. Rodgers won 2 MVPS, a S B MVP, holds NFL records and some regard him as one of the best QB’s in NFL history. NO SHIT he’s a celebrity, did you figure that out all on your own?
Sheeesh, offseason really takes this site’s content to the toilet.
I mean other websites drop too, but TP takes it to a whole new level of sanitary disposal.
wow….how crappy of him to date a hot actress and live in Hollywood.
This article was a waste of perfectly good toilet time.
I love when people criticize other people’s lives when they have no clue what it is like to walk in their shoes. Would it be better for him to pull a Cutler and flip off the camera?
