It’s that moment you’ve all been waiting for — the Green Bay Packers 2016 preseason opponents!
Yeah! Preseason ball!
Fired up!
The Packers, who get a fifth preseason contest this year, will face the following teams: Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs.
The only game dates that we know are the Hall of Fame game versus the Colts on August 7 and the final preseason contest versus the Chiefs on September 1.
The remaining games will fall into a window.
The Packers get the Browns at home between August 11-14, the Raiders at home between August 18-21 and at San Francisco August 25-28. The Chiefs game is also an away game.
Sorry, but I like preseason. A HOF game actually gets me pretty damned excited! That’s five games of Brett Hundley, that alone qualifies for good (enough) Football imo. Call me impatient but I like to think to myself that football really begins on Aug. 7. Just easier that way I guess.
Packers have to play an extra preseason game. Whaa!! Thompson won’t overspend in free agency!! Whaa! Brett Favre is in the news!! Whaa!! Davante Adams is still a Packer!! Whaa!! Ted Thimpson wasn’t fired!! Whhaaaaaaaa!! Whaaaaaaaaa!!! Somebody cut me off on the way to work!!
Oh, wait. You probably work outta your parents’ basement.
I actually really appreciate the say it like it is approach to this site. There are a lot of emotions when it comes to sports, and that means fans want to vent, A LOT. Especially when they see big-headedness by the GM’s or owners who clearly act out of stubbornness or greed. Bengals owner Mike Brown REFUSED to trade away Carson Palmer despite the fact that it was clearly in the best interest of both parties to let him move out of Cinci. That right there in infallible proof that NFL execs can have their heads stuck up their ass. This site is one of the few willing to jab them wherever the execs decide to flip their fans off and do things their way instead.
That being said, TP’s can jump to conclusions every here and there and I don’t see often enough when they will admit they were wrong. I do agree they’re jumping the gun on Davante Adams and saying he’s a complete bust. I remember when everyone was sure Morgan Burnett was a total loss, but look how that turned out?
Would like for there to be a few more uplifting articles, and written with the same enthusiasm as their critical articles.
Not bad . . .

Lets hope no injuries.
Why do you call Mike McCarthy buffoon? Like for example: “it is way past time to give buffoon his walking papers”
ARod may want to use these games to develop trust and timing with the receivers other than Nelson and Cobb.
