Yes, your distaste for Joe Buck is well documented. We’ve never really understood it, although maybe it’s his association with Troy Aikman.
We don’t really get that either, though.
At any rate, people don’t like Joe Buck. Buck told a story today about how one Green Bay Packers fan explained how the whole state of Wisconsin hates him.
“I walk out on the field at Lambeau eight weeks ago and I come around the corner and there’s one fan sitting there and he catches my eye,” Buck said. “‘Hey, do you know the entire state of Wisconsin hates you?'”
Joey B didn’t seem too happy about that.
Watch him talk about it here.
I’m sure it’s many states.
fuckin’ somnabitchin HYUNDAI AD!!!!! Time for some ADBLOCKER…..this site is one of the most cluttered and worst..i realize there is money to be made and no one is going to send Monty any but SWEET JESUS THESE THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE.
I like his voice, he has great commentary, I never understood the hate for him.
Aikman and Collinsworth on the other hand can eat a dick up til they hiccup.
He has a great voice, and that’s all he has.
Hmmm…
Is it wrong for a man to tell another man, that another man has a great voice? Possibly not.
But something about it doesn’t sound right.
Nah, nearly half the country doesn’t like that crew. And I can’t find Erin Andrews attractive at all…
hate’m both, ESPECIALLY Troy
“Man to man”? Yeah. No. Man to prima Donna.
It’s not just you joe the whole state hates you and Troy aikmen. It’s like watching two married men talk about football. I’m always waiting for them to kiss. Go pack go
I hate that they both seem so gleefull when the Packers are losing.
He’s got his own restaurant in the St Louis I live there and would upper decker it. There is baseball fans who hate him too. I hope he starts himself on fire.
He is a great baseball announcer. Not so great at football, but I don’t hate him by any means. Not sure why people would.
I don’t know what you guys hear and don’t hear from Aikmen, but i hear good football commentary. He tells it pretty much how it is, i’ve heard him knock on the Cowboys when it’s deserved, and i’ve also heard him knock the Packers when it’s deserved. But i’ve also heard him many, many times say positive things about the Packers, when it’s deserved.
That and he has a great voice.
Lol, c’mon, man, nothin’ wrong with enjoying another dude’s voice: Morgan Freeman in Shawshank makes that movie ten times as good as it already was, I mean shit, the dude’s voice even has a Facebook page with millions of followers. I can’t imagine the number of babies made with Barry White’s voice settin’ the mood, and half of my NFL Films viewing time is solely so I can hear some Sam Spence tunes and John Facenda’s voice, if the Packers didn’t exist, I think I might just be a Raiders fan solely because of his reading of “The Autumn Wind”.
Agreed on Aikman, I really didn’t like him at first, but that wasn’t because of any apparent bias (in point of fact I think he’s actually biased more towards the Pack than anything else, considering he covers them about 10 times a season), I just thought he made a lot of mistakes regarding the rules and strategy of the game, especially considering he played it for over a decade at the most intellectually demanding position. That said, he’s been pretty spot on the past few years, and really the current rule book is just so hilariously FUBAR in it’s explanations that I can’t even blame professionals whose job it is to follow it to a “T” for messing it up occasionally, let alone a broadcaster. That and if anyone has CTE to the highest degree it’s he and Young. In all reality, as much I dislike the two of them as people, they are two of the best national commentators we have covering the came, them and the corpse of Al Michaels and the used-car salesman Chris Collinsworth; sad testament to the state of NFL broadcasting, really.
The Packers have to play better to force them to provide positive commentary. I mostly agree when they bash the Packers, because they deserve it. And we as fans deserve to hear it. Sometimes we suck.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman can both eat a full wet bucket of sh!t.
Joe ain’t that bad….
Telling it like it is on some shit packer plays thus season….
Hard for anyone to beat the Collinsworth commentary on QB1’s Holy-Grail-Mary to Janis v. Cards …..
I don’t think Joe Buck knows a great deal about football. Do I hate him personally….no, but I don’t think he makes a great commentator for football. I could probably do a better job then him. Our family always says when someone screws up “Really Joe Bucked that one!!”.
