Remember tight end D.J. Williams?
He was a fifth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2011. He talked a big game, but never produced. We’ll remember him more for carrying a toy turtle around to the bars during the offseason than anything he ever did on the field.
Us pointing that out apparently pissed Williams off pretty good because… this.
But hey, what Packer haven’t we pissed off at one time or another? Some of them handle it better than others.
Today we were alerted to the fact that Williams is now a TV reporter. He’s currently in San Francisco reporting on the Super Bowl, sans turtle.

The Packers cut Williams prior to the 2013 season. He’s had (very) brief stints with Jacksonville, New England, Tampa Bay and Washington since then.
It appears your future is in local news, son.
And we say that will all sincerity.
Pack should re-sign Colt Lyerla if the want a real TE.
Who?
