Sam Shields, Quinten Rollins Both Active

Sam Shields

The Green Bay Packers will have their full complement of cornerbacks for the first time in a month.

Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins — both listed as questionable on Friday — are active for Saturday night’s game with Arizona.

Shields has missed four games with a concussion. Rollins hurt his quad against Washington.

Both corners were limited in practice all week, but only Rollins missed a day (Wednesday).

Cornerbacks LaDarius Gunter, who filled in admirably for Rollins last week, and the recently-promoted Robertson Daniel are inactive.

Monty McMahon

Monty McMahon is one of the founders of Total Packers. He is probably the most famous graduate of UW-Oshkosh next to Jim Gantner.

That’s something to be excited about! Go Pack Go!

  2. PackAttack January 16, 2016

    Game Over —- nice season.

    1. icebowl January 16, 2016

Nice season is winning the Super Bowl…

To quote Ricky Bobby – “If you ain’t first, you’re last”?

    2. Skinny January 16, 2016

Hate to lose a game like this, fuck me this sucks. I’m not even upset about the way we played tonight, we had it man, it was right there. I cant take this shit no more, fuck we just cant get over the hump, and I don’t know if we can blame anyone for these OT losses.

  3. PackAttack January 16, 2016

Worst fucking play calling I’ve ever seen. 2nd and 8 with 2:30 and your running HB stretch plays? bwhahahahahhha —- what a fucking joke. Go away McCarthy.

Another Pack season ends in complete disaster. Arizona practically GAVE this game to Green Bay and Rodgers can’t step up. Fucking joke. Time for a change in Green Bay.

    1. icebowl January 16, 2016

I agree – Carson wanted to give them the game – Friggin’ Shields dropped the a boatload of INTs – one woulda iced the game !

The refs were terrible – missed calls for both teams….

Still can’t figure out why Shithead Capers switched to zone in the second half ….

Fitzgerald is a great player – I think it was pretty obvious he was gonna win that game for Arizona.

Two straight post season chokes …. this time they literally lost by inches – chain placement and missed INTs …

It was friggin’ torture – Watching this game was like having my nails pulled out one at time ….

  4. PackAttack January 16, 2016

Great challenge McCarthy — wasting challenges on Fitzgeralds catch?? What the fuck was that? That’s a fireable move right there — what a joke. This guy needs to be axed. Needs to be.

  5. Jschizl January 16, 2016

If we fire him before ot who will coach

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

      anyone….not him

  6. PackAttack January 16, 2016

This whole season was fucked with two idiots at the helm in McCarthy and Ted Thompson. Another wasted season in Rodgers’ prime.

    * Wasted running plays
    * Apparently Jeff Janis and Jared Abbrederis are both better than Davante Adams and Randall Cobb, where have these two been all year?
    * James Jones needs to be released — immediately
    * McCarthy and his play calling charade need to go. McCarthy has had his shot and hasn’t gotten this organization where it needs to be. I don’t care how many injuries the offense had — clearly Rodgers is good enough to win and Arizona all but gift wrapped this game
    * Time for a change in this organization

    1. MMTTDCSUCK January 16, 2016

Yep! Janis should have been playing his whole year . . .Another game blown at the end by Buffoon letting off the gas early in the 4th. Fucking shameful . . .

  7. Jschizl January 16, 2016

    No we didn’t even coach

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

      play calling is coaching related

  8. Jschizl January 16, 2016

  9. billabong January 16, 2016

why didn’t Shields hold on to that interception…too many dumb mistakes in the fourth quarter….on to the draft…..those play calls in the next to last drive sucked…

  10. dennis January 16, 2016

The officiating sure was biased towards the Packer’s . Allot of missed holding and pass interference. There was no way we were going to winwith these idiots reffing

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

missed calls on both sides the whole game. Packers missed their opportunities in the red zone early, should have had 14 points early. Play calling was absolutely atrocious, might be the worst I’ve ever seen in the last five years (and that’s really saying something) — another big game and another big loss for Fat Mike.

      Time for a Change!

      1. MMTTDCSUCK January 16, 2016

  11. PackAttack January 16, 2016

After watching this fucking shit show of play calling and running morons like Davante Adams and James Jones out in front of Abbrederis and Janis. I’m convinced Mike McCarthy is 100% to blame for everything on this team. Play calling, personnel — this guy can’t fucking coach in big games, can’t win big games, it’s time for a change. 6 years with Rodgers and this guy has been to one Super Bowl with the most talented QB in the game…..UNACCEPTABLE.

  12. Jschizl January 16, 2016

I am not happy but who is out there really that is worth a fuck

  13. icebowl January 16, 2016

  14. Cuban January 16, 2016

I cant be the only person who noticed veldheer wrapping his arm around peppers chest nearly every play and not one holding penalty.

Capers needs to go fucking immediately, they were playing great using mostly man right up to the go ahead td, and then that piece of shit went strictly zone, and how the fuck did that pay off

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

time for change in green bay. people need to go.

  15. Jschizl January 16, 2016

You fags should be happy though they lost and now you have some thing to bitch about

    1. icebowl January 16, 2016

      You like that ?

    2. icebowl January 16, 2016

      ’cause I don’t !

    3. MMTTDCSUCK January 16, 2016

Fags? get with the program . . .

  16. Cuban January 16, 2016

Can someone tell me if this is correct or not, my brother said collinsworth mentioned the cardinals had the fewest penalties called against them while their oppnents had the most. That sure would explain those assholes keeping the flags tucked away all night.

    1. MMTTDCSUCK January 16, 2016

Holding, holding and more holding all night long . . .

  17. Phatgzus January 16, 2016

PackAttack, you are a fucking joke. Considering the Packers had their 4th, 5th, and 6th WRs only for almost the entire fucking game, it’s fucking ridiculous to put this loss on the play-calling. Nope, that rests mainly on Shields’ stone hands and terrible officiating. Get a fucking clue ya zombie.

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

Your a fucking idiot — you have been the whole year and it’s insulting to listen to you fucking talk when you’re clearly a fucking 40 year old loser who never played, sitting in your Mom’s basement trying to justify an absolutely pathetic game. The fuck are you smoking?

Explain this to me. Explain it.

2:30 left in regulation in the 4th Q, 2nd and long and your go to play call is a HB stretch with Lacy? You have 1 timeout and your go to call is that? Wasting time, wasting downs? Explain that play call to me.

Running 80% of the time on 1st and 10 and averaging 2.1 yards per/carry on 1st down running plays? Are you fucking smoke meth in your basement? Predictable, stupid play calling and wasting downs.

How about the play calling in the Red Zone in the first fucking half (where the game was decided by the way). Packers should have had 14 points instead of 6 in those first two trips to the red zone. Absolutely pathetic play calling.

Please explain why Jeff Janis and Davante Adams have been playing behind Davante Adams all year. Please explain that one to me.

Your a fucking joke. You bring nothing to the table and have nothing of value you to say football-related. Answer my questions and I’ll consider giving you the time of day — until then go the fuck back into your basement and learn how to evaluate football.

      Fucking moron.

      1. Phatgzus January 16, 2016

Fucking hilarious. Learn the fucking proper grammar of YOUR (possessive, dumbass) fucking native language before insulting another’s intelligence.

I’ve had, uh, “conversations” with YOUR brain dead corpse in the past, not surprisingly they devolved into argumenta ad hominem on your end when the last few brain cells you had left crumbled to dust and couldn’t be used to attempt to rebut any of my conclusions. So try not to get butthurt to an even greater extent if I decide to ignore your rambling, incoherent, single-minded diatribes that aren’t even close to anything that could be considered rational thought and make everyone in this blog dumber for having read them.Because, you see, I like my brain cells and the faculty of rational thought that they offer me. But hey, nice “middle-aged-man-in-parents’-basement” cliche. That was fuckin’ original, if you were buried in a time capsule for a decade-I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Peace out, ya fucking Space Oddity, you. ;)

        1. Phatgzus January 17, 2016

Waiting for YOUR logical response PA, any day will do. Muster all your brain cells and let’s have it.

    2. MMTTDCSUCK January 16, 2016

Pack Attack is correct about many things. Buffoon is a game time train wreck. Early Time Out’s, worthless play calling. And WTF was that challenge about? What a joke! Letting off the gas early in the 4th Q? Are you kidding me?

      1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

That was the worst challenge I’ve ever seen.

McCarthy needs to fucking go. He’s finished in Green Bay. He’s got this team stuck in mediocrity during the best QB in the NFL’s prime years.

Playing Davante Adams over Janis and Abredieus is about as bad as it gets.

1st and 10 running 80% of the time and averaging 2.2 yards per/carry — PREDICTABLE & pointless. Just terrible.

  18. MMTTDCSUCK January 16, 2016

So Fat Jesus! what about Janis MR FUCKING KNOW IT ALL. If you cannot see a “gamer” when he is on the field, you should not be watching the game. So I get the last laugh about Janis . . . sometimes you can just see a good player . . . you know? . . . Oops! you didn’t did you?

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

Please someone please — where has Jeff Janis (and Abbrederis) been all year???????????????? Behind DAVANTE ADAMS AND JAMES JONES!!!! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!??

Playing Janis behind Adams is about as bad as Fat Ass McCarthy challenging that catch Larry had and blowing his second timeout on an absolute joke of a challenge. It was a 12 yard catch!! WHO GIVES A FUCK!

Awful coaching — all year. Awful play calling. Predictable. underperforming trash all year. Time for change.

    2. Phatgzus January 16, 2016

I’ve said Janis has talent, genius. Nice try on that one though, he had a great game, we needed it. He also wasn’t on the same page as Rodgers, that cost us 4 poins. If you’re not on the same page as Rodgers you’re not going to get playing time, unless you’re forced into it. Again, nice try though, at least you get to displace that anger and hatred onto someone else huh? Bet you feel like a winner, eh? Keep at it, Chachi.

      1. Phatgzus January 16, 2016

      2. MMTTDCSUCK January 17, 2016

I should go back and reference some of the shit you said to me regarding Janis. You are a sad homer apologist . . . enjoy the rest of the football season watching the “big boys” play. Until that buffoon is gone, this WILL be your lot in football life.

        1. Phatgzus January 17, 2016

No “should”-fucking do it, I’d love to see you eat your words. But you won’t because you know I’ve never completely trashed Janis, because I don’t do that shit to young developing players because it’s fucking stupid.

  19. Dave The Lions Fan January 16, 2016

    One more time,

    1. PackAttack January 16, 2016

If you’re going to diss, at least get it right.

Mike McCarthy choked…..again….3-5 in the playoffs in the last 5 years —- big choke.

  20. dennis January 16, 2016

Hey Dave, I am coming to see Ford Field this summer to see all of the Lions Superbowl trophies , what are the hours to view them. Oh wait they don’t have any. Well there goes my vacation.
