The Green Bay Packers will go without No. 1 cornerback Sam Shields for the fourth consecutive game.
Shields and linebacker Jayrone Elliott were both downgraded on the Saturday injury report. Shields went from doubtful to out and Elliott went from questionable to doubtful.
Shields was still in concussion protocol Friday morning and he obviously hasn’t progressed.
Since Shields wasn’t expected to play, that makes the big news about left tackle David Bakhtiari.
Bakhtiari was listed as questionable on Friday and remained so on Saturday.
Questionable is technically 50/50 to play, but Bakhtiari obviously has a shot to go since he hasn’t been downgraded.
That will likely be a game-time decision.
Well, this may be a shit show-need Bak-T to return at the very least.
One more concussion for Shields and his career may be over, four weeks is insane.
Absofukinlutely.
