Remember when video games became an issue for the Green Bay Packers during the season?
During the Packers’ Thanksgiving night debacle, analyst Cris Collinsworth described a players-only meeting where some of the team’s leaders had to tell some of the younger guys they were playing too many video games.
After the report, quarterback Aaron Rodgers said it was blown out of proportion. That there was no players-only meeting.
In the process, he also confirmed that something related to guys playing too many video games was discussed, players-only meeting or not.
The message was pretty clear.
Some guys were not taking their jobs seriously and thus, they weren’t prepared on Sundays.
We went right ahead and assumed Davante Adams was the culprit because, well… did you see how terrible that guy was in 2015?
In hindsight, running back Eddie Lacy may have been the guy.
Not only was he publicly told to lose weight after the season, but his Instagram sure does seem to suggest he LOVES playing video games.
Had to cop it fa old times sake

I mean, yeah. I dig some Sonic, but who has time for that shit?
No one who takes their job seriously, as far as I know.
China Food and Vidjagames. Is this guy a professional NFL player or a basement-dwelling permavirgin?
Jesus fucking Christ
I have on occasion hooked up the ol Sega during a cold winter weekend. I don’t know how to describe it man, but finding that shoe box with Madden 96, NBA Jam, Bulls vs Blazers and others inside it is like winning the lottery.
Sports Talk Football.
I’m sure he can hire some geek who can attach the games to the front of his exercise equipment.
Why does this fool have so much time to fart around on Twitter and Instagram?
I’d rather having him playing Sonic than eating at Sonic.
Calico FTW!
Bwhaha..stuff like this is why pro athletes sometime don’t like the media. You guys create these type of stories knowing its specualation but also know there’s so many people too dumb to think for themselves and will take this and run with it as if its facts. If it were facts the quote “Eddie Lacy MAY have been that guy” key word “MAY” wouldn’t be there. But you know that will get looked over by many people. We get it, he was out of shape (like many other players) lets move forward and stop reaching for something to talk about.
Lmao true true!
