Of the 18 guys who appeared on the Green Bay Packers’ Thursday injury report, four are listed as questionable today, including left tackle David Bakhtiari.
Bakhtiari is expected to give practice a go on Saturday before the Packers make a final decision on his availability for Sunday’s game.
The other questionable players are tight end Justin Perillo and linebackers Jayrone Elliott and Datone Jones.
No one has been listed as out, but cornerback Sam Shields is doubtful and that gives him little chance to play on Sunday. Shields is still in concussion protocol.
The remaining 13 players got the probable designation.
The Packers should be grateful they are playing in D.C. Sunday’s weather forecast there calls for a high of 60 with early morning rain turning to partly cloudy by afternoon. In Green Bay they’d probably be stuck with sub zero wind chills, just like what Minny and Seattle are going to have to go through.
Don’t kid yourself, although they’d never admit it, this is one
reason they didn’t leave everything on the field against the
Vikings. Much, much preferable to lose, go to DC in the
warmth, save any new look for the playoffs and hopefully
get lucky and get on a streak. If they win the SB no one
will remember they lost the division to the Vikings. Look
at 2010.
