It’s been a rough year for Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Letroy Guion.
He got arrested, lost out on a long-term contract, got bumped to defensive end by B.J. Raji and hasn’t played particularly great football.
But things are looking up now.
Police finally returned the Dodge truck and $190,028.81 that were seized during Guion’s arrest. Mind you, he reached a plea deal in the case back in March, when all felony charges were dismissed.
“It kind of rejuvenates me,” Guion said. “It gives me my sense of character back and gives me my juice back. I’m all excited and ready to go. Things are getting back to normal. All the smoke is starting to clear.”
If you’re wondering what the hell took so long, Guion’s property was being held because of a civil forfeiture case. Essentially, the Stark, Florida police wanted to keep Guion’s property because he’s a big, bad criminal.
They ended up voluntarily dismissing that case.
All’s well that ends well?
“All the smoke is starting to clear” Interesting choice of words by Guion considering the smoke is what got him in trouble in the first place.
Did he get his weed back?
Really?
The truck was returned with 70,000 miles on it. Those redneck Police were out in the Starke FL mud bogs. Monty didn’t put the E in Starke, the E is for Everyone passing through that is black gets arrested.
The level of stupidity in some post never ceases to amaze me.
