If you said Ty Montgomery, then you are a winner!
Here’s a quick review. Montgomery appeared to be a near certainty to play last week after practicing all week. Of course, he was a game-day inactive. And now he’s gone right back to his usual spot of standing around and watching practice.
#Packers practice: Montgomery (ankle) sidelined again. Shields (concussion) and Sitton (back) not working for 2nd straight day.

Montgomery hasn’t played since week 6 because of a sprained ankle.
Is it healing or is it not healing? We’re going to go with the latter at this point.
Might as well go ahead and get in there with the hacksaw and amputate that goddam gimp ankle. Replace it with a wooden post.
Just as good to stand around on!
Montgomery’s latest setback comes at an interesting time for the Packers. Andrew Quarless, AKA God’s Gifts, has been practicing for nearly three weeks after being activated from short-term injured reserve.
He’s not on the active roster yet, though. The Packers have to make a decision on Gifts by Monday.
Either add him to the roster, send him back to injured reserve or release him.
The first option would require the Packers to make a corresponding roster move. Either release someone or put someone on injured reserve.
We’re not sure what Montgomery standing around for another few weeks is going to do. Might as well put him on the shelf already.
I would love to have Montgomery back, but high ankle sprains can be significant injuries. I had one my senior year of high school that required it to be in a cast for 6 weeks. Give the guy time to heal.
High ankle sprain for sure. I have doubted him returning this year. Damn
the severity of his injury has been misdiagnosed.
Bet we find out he needs surgery soon.
Not misdiagnosed. Mis-reported.
It’s a chess game. Any time the Packers can get their opponent to gameplan for someone who has 0% chance of suiting up, that’s a win for the team.
Don’t be surprised if he’s active Sunday. These reports are as meaningful as dried up dog poo.
“Don’t be surprised if he’s active Sunday.”……what Sunday, in 2016 you must mean…
How is he injured again if he was already injured to begin with?
