Alright, we’ll reserve judgment until we see how many carries he gets on Sunday, but it certainly sounds like Eddie Lacy is back where he belongs.
That is focused and atop the damn depth chart.
After last week’s demotion for missing curfew, Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy was asked about Lacy on Tuesday. Here’s what he said.
“I think Eddie has been rejuvenated. His work was good today. I look for him to have a very good week of practice and look for him to be productive Sunday. … We’re really focused on today and beating the Cowboys. That’s what I want everybody to think about, talk about and that’s what we’re looking forward to.”
That would seem to signal that Lacy will carry the load on Sunday.
And as we’ve detailed time and again, that’s when the Packers offense has been at its best this season.
Lacy carries the rock 15-plus times, he puts up good numbers and usually, the Packers win.
Eddie Fucking Lacy!
he’s back when he rolls for a hundred against the ‘Boys…until then……meh
I would like to hear it from Lacy not from coach. I’ll believe it when I see it but he sure looks like he’s still got it when he wants to. There are games he just looks like he’s not into it… Slow to the hole, running up the backs of the oline, no broken tackles, etc. But then there are games he plays like he’s the f’n man! Let’s hope he brings it this week against the cowfuckers.
In the words of Allen Iverson, “we talkin’ ’bout practice. Practice.”
Fuck his fat ass….
looks like Colin Cole in a #27 jersey
Saw him at Casablanca Restaurant on Milwaukee’s east side Sunday evening. He was only there briefly to say hello to friends. Hopefully, he was behaved after he left the establishment and did not stay out all night.
#27 needs to be THE impact guy for the last quarter of the season.
Next two games should be gimmes and (if they avoid big injuries) should provide opportunities to tune up for huge games v. Cards and Queens to maintain #3 seed in this year’s tournament….
Gimme? I don’t think there is such a thing with the way this offense has sputtered. Oline health is key to everything. Can’t help but think Bakhtiari is hurt. Hell they’re all hurt. It’s the health of this group which will determine if we’re a SB team or a one and done.
