Do you know what happens after you lose to the Detroit Lions at home? I’ll tell you.
You don’t feel like doing shit.
So I’m telling you straight up. This is a half-hearted effort.
Aaron Rodgers was angry after the game.
Not angry about his garbage play, but angry about what some ignorant fuck in the stands had to say.
Yeah.
Here’s the part where we tell you that maybe everyone should be concerned with themselves and not worry about the fucks who are clearly the fucks. But QB1 had to be real adamant about this.
“I must admit, I was very disappointed with whoever the fan was who made a comment that I thought was really inappropriate during the moment of silence,” Rodgers said. “It’s that kind of prejudicial ideology that I think puts us in the position that we’re in today as a world.”
Here’s the thing.
We don’t abide by ignorance. You know that.
This is me talking personally, but I like to think we go out of our way to beat down any sort of ignorance or stupidity. And that may not be popular, but we hold you to a higher standard. The whole idea behind this stupid goddam site was that we weren’t going to talk down to anyone, that the people who read us were either in the know or they’d move on to Cheesehead TV.
I have no idea what was said during that moment of silence, but it doesn’t matter.
An ignorant fuck is probably always going to be an ignorant fuck.
That’s life. The world.
And it’s certainly Aaron Rodgers’ right to say what he feels. To call out stupidity.
Certainly seemed like it was a convenient thing to point out in the wake of losing to the Detroit Fucking Lions at home, though.
Hey, nothing to see here. Please move on.
