The Green Bay Packers could potentially have another offensive weapon when they face the Carolina Panthers this weekend. It would come in the form of receiver Ty Montgomery.
The rookie returned to practice on Thursday.

Montgomery missed the Denver game with a sprained ankle, which he suffered the previous week against San Diego.
The Packers haven’t made any sort of proclamation on Montgomery yet and we’ve seen guys practice before and then not play on Sunday. This is a step in the right direction for Montgomery, though.
The news wasn’t all good, of course.
Cornerbacks Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins, both of whom were injured against Denver, did not practice on Thursday.
